came here on a weekday night with a friend! it was our first time trying greek food and the staff were super friendly, giving us recommendations on what to order. we started off with the pitas with tzaziki and roasted eggplant dip. it was AMAZING - the pitas were warm and very slightly crispy :-) really fantastic!! the spanakopita was good as well but personally not suited to our palates as it was deep fried. (which you would know if you ate greek food more often - unlike us HAHA) that was pretty filling as an appetiser as well. next, we had the garlic prawns. this was the best part of our meal and it had us trying to drink the gravy off the pan - it was so delicious!!!!! it immediately became one of our favourite dishes in brisbane. we had a wrap meal as well with lamb. this was pretty good as well! we finished off with 2 desserts - baklava and galaktombouriko! they were both really fantastic and pretty similar (in our opinion) except that one had nuts and the other one was filled with custard. both really good desserts and great portions for the price! would definitely be back here again and have been recommending my friends to this place. thank you so much for the warm experience to your lovely restaurant!!

Little Greek Taverna reaches for greatness but isn't quite able to grasp it. At least for me and my friends. What we loved: Servers were very kind and warm. Price was quite reasonable for value ($12 for a wrap is unheard of). Wraps were very tasty and filling. Food came quickly. I personally loved the baklava, and thought it great value for $8. What we didn't love: Chips were oily (tasted like old oil that needed replacing) and too salty. Halloumi was very oily and very salty. Food comes with napkin, so napkin comes half drenched in oil (amateur hour). I show this in the photo as it was given to me. Getting to the bathroom is not only complicated and hard, but it's situated in an area which can only be described as a crack den.

We went here for my birthday dinner on a Sunday evening and absolutely loved it. I was with my family, and everything we tried was outstanding — both the starters and the mains. For starters, we ordered the tzatziki, eggplant dip, and fried cheese. The goat cheese was so delicious we had to order it twice. We also tried the sheftalies, which were quite tasty, and the baby calamari, which was tender and full of flavour. For mains, we shared the souvla and lamb chops — both were cooked perfectly and packed with flavour. Portions were generous, prices were very reasonable, and the overall quality exceeded our expectations. The only small downside was the limited drink options. Still, 5 out of 5 from us ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We ate there tonight and did not enjoy the food. We ordered pastitsio from the special menu which was extremely over-salted. The Greek salad on the side had one small piece of fetta and needed more olive oil but seemed to be plated in a rush.

Overall, the mains were a real let down and the presentation lacked. At a total bill of $84 there was an expectation that some care and attention be made to the presentation of our meal let alone the food itself. Will not be back.

REPLY to Owner - YES we ate all of our food no where in my review did I say otherwise.... it was late, we were hungry and we did not have energy to debate the issue with staff at the time. So YES we ate our food we were not about to waste $84. As for finding the mains salty etc, that is our personal opinion and is not defamatory in the slightest.

Note - You neglected to mention that I left a portion of my mains on my plate but feel free to check the video footage of us eating that you're referring to if you wish to watch us further. 📽🔎

As for your response I found it completely unprofessional and unnecessary. What you could have said was 'I'm sorry you didn't enjoy your dining experience with us, be assured we aim to...

This is my girlfriend's favourite restaurant and she finally brought me here, I'm so glad she did. We got the Florinian platter for two and an EPSA soda each (the orange and blood orange). The Greek salad, pita, tzatziki dip, and fried cheese were exceptional. The pita was warm, fluffy and a little crispy, the tzatziki was tangy and cool, the cheese was funky and salty, and the salad was crisp refreshing.

We had gobbled up everything else by the time the meats came out. They were a bit underwhelming, quite bland compared to everything else we just had. We were still really happy with our meal because of the quality of everything beforehand.

On our way to pay we saw the freshly made filo with custard and just HAD to get a slice to take home. We had it later that night and it was also phenomenal.

The location is a bit bright and noisy but that's absolutely not the restaurant's fault and honestly you don't notice once the food is brought out. The service was fast and polite and the food was great value being about $35 per person for drinks, side dishes, mains and dessert.

If you love Greek food then this is a must eat location...
