The business only focuses on promotion but severely lacks and neglects providing quality for those who have joined already. It’s always crowded. Classes don’t have enough mats because of their weekend promotion. All of the wipes are gone and bathrooms are neglected on a regular basis. Told staff about missing wipes and he told me to wait while he was trying to sell a membership rather than just quickly grabbing them. Staff is friendly which I like but the company pushes them to sell rather than maintaining equipment or cleanliness. Membership isn’t cheap. Company needs to stop looking at the $$$$ and focus on proving quality and the money will come. Otherwise we won’t stay

VERY POOR HYGENE IN THIS GYM. I really find it disturbing that you can still walk into a gym and most of the people don’t use towels. Nothing worse than going to use a machine and it’s wet in stinky sweat. This is the norm at this gym. Staff do nothing, often I see two staff behind the counter that never venture into the gym. Surely this would be part of their job. Maybe big signs like Goodlife in the valley or Indooroopily rather than the tiny little rules sign that no one can read. Also no control on gym bags being dropped on the gym floor.

The facilities have a very poor management, designated areas don’t have proper signal so patrons do whatever. It has been three days since the same bottle is standing in the same place and no of the staff members have been able to clean. That’s how poor is their attention to detail, clearly a place that just wants your money. Facilities are always out of order, either toilets or machines and takes months to repair it. There’s way more affordable options with much better and clean facilities. Definitely not recommending it.

I have had the worst experience in memory with this gym. There are a multitude of reasons why I would avoid this gym;

I signed up for one month to try it out. It turns out that length of contract is basically meaningless. Even if you sign for one month then it still means they are going to charge your card until you go there in person and demand to sign an end contract form. I tried closing my account over the phone numerous times only to be hounded again for my next payment. There is also a 30 day notice period you need to provide before you can close. Spoiler: that's another month of membership.

They periodically do sign-up events where they put on more classes to try and entice subscribers. They cut down the number of classes as soon as the event is over and you will find yourself at #3

Once you realise the classes you enjoyed have stopped, you will find the gym is overcrowded, unhygienic and has rude staff. Many patrons don't use towels. Sometimes you see someone with a comedically small towel, the size of a chux rag.

Staff are rude. You might find yourself merely looking at an exercise machine before being told to put someone else's weights back.

Don't think that your possessions are safe at all there. I rode my bike to the gym, asked to park it inside like others had done. Staff advised the other bikes were not meant to be there in the first place. They insisted parking it outside was safe. I listened, and locked it outside with my kryptonite lock. The lock was broken and my bike was stolen within 40 mins. Through police and a Facebook group I have been in contact with others who have had the same experience. Police advised me that bikes are stolen from outside the gym on a daily basis and the gym knows about it; yet they still insist it's safe to do so. Also the security cameras in the area dont really work.

If the gym is closed during cooling off period then it still counts. - I tried to cancel my membership after the gym's carpark had flooded. I couldn't contact the gym for about a week as they were closed. By the time they opened, the cooling off period had expired and I was forced into further ordeal.

If you do not pay your membership, (even after you try to cancel it) a dubious organisation will be after you with all kinds of threats. Make sure you check your spam inbox to see their messages.

There are probably additional experiences to list but you get the point. I should have read the other reviews. Avoid this gym...

Look, I get that Monday nights are super busy and people are entitled to do the workouts they want but there needs to be some sort of timing per squat rack during peak hours. I waited probably 20/30 minutes on the floor next to the racks for one to be free. The people on them clearly saw me but just continued to hog them. One chick proceeded to talk to her other friend for 10 minutes but left her squat rack with all her stuff. Then she called another friend and was on the phone, then did super sets. One dude used his phone for a few minutes in between sets. And then he did an overboard amount of sets of squats and then deadlifts. Another dude did the same. They were both on the rack before I started waiting and one dude was still on it after I started my squats. Not 20 seconds after I got on a rack some dude asked me if I was done cause there was nothing on my bar??? There were a bunch of other people waiting too and I am sure they were pissed at how long they had to wait. I pay for the gym too and when I have to wait 30 minutes + for a rack and can’t do anything else cause then I might never get a rack it’s just a waste of my time and my ability to do what I need to meet my goals. It’s just super disappointing that there isn’t rules in place that makes it fair for all members. Especially those struggling with their health and weight and want to better them self but they aren’t given the ability to. The reason I quit the gym in the first place was cause I was spending too long in the gym. I finally talked myself to getting back into it and it’s just more of the same except I’m just sitting around waiting for equipment all the time. I had a 45 minute workout which was created by my PT from my home club and give about 15/20 minutes for warm up/cool-down I approx. should have been at the gym for 1hr 10mins but I ended up having to pay for parking which means I was there over 2 hours so I would have just been waiting for equipment for about 50 mins+. Happens every week but Monday night was...

Their facilities are generally good, but I had to cancel my gym membership with them as they were taking out $26.64 from me every week, yet there were rarely ever any of the exercise classes I was interested in, which was the main reason I joined in the first place really.

There were more of the classes I was interested in at first, which is why I stayed for a while, but then they simply lost interest in providing said classes anymore, and I'm not here to fund a gym that isn't providing me with anything beneficial.

Also, their online timetables are extremely confusing and not at all useful. There are two timetables for classes online. The one that presents itself first, and so makes it seem like the only timetable on their website, isn't accurately updated, and so you'll look up a class and visit the club, and the class won't be on - which is a waste of time and money for members. I made a complaint about their timetable, and was told that there's a second timetable on the website, it's simply hidden in a very convoluted place, so you have to know it's there in the first place in order to find it. Good to know now, except that there still aren't enough of the classes I'm interested in on offer.

To top it all off, after having to complain about said issues, rather than apologising and ending my membership sooner, so that I don't have to pay - they advised that I had to pay for an extra month before I could cancel...so it's a very one sided relationship. Not impressed at all. Some empathy and better care for the customer is definitely required.

If you're looking for regularly occurring exercise classes, I'd go somewhere decent. Do your research and make smart choices, and don't commit to long term contracts. I just want to ensure this kind of thing doesn't happen again, just to be...
