Mo'Pho Vietnamese Canteen — Restaurant in Brisbane City

My colleagues and I had the pleasure of experiencing MoPho recently. The we had quite a large order, which we phoned ahead to place. When we arrived, the staff were just as patient and friendly in person as they were on the phone. I have not tried much Vietnamese cuisine in the past but fell in love within the first bite of my dish - a delicious chicken steamed rice bowl. I devoured this meal so quickly, it was incredibly tasty. My colleagues enjoyed the food just as much as I did (ordered multiple items including pho, rice paper rolls, wontons and banh mi). I also got to sip on the refreshing, sweet goodness of the lychee soda - It paired wonderfully with my food. The extra supply of chilli and dressings was also great. 3.5 stars ... Busy Vietnamese take away, I was hoping it would be better but probably due to turn over and being close to the hospital, they were missing crucial touches. I wanted Bahn mi , but they didn't have crispy pork, just roast pork pre prepared in the bun, so I opted for a PHO, it wasn't the worst pho but ive had so much better and there was no toppings like been shoots and Vietnamese basil etc. It was still tasty, just didn't hit the spot. The food was ok. I was rushing to get there before closing time advertised as 3pm and I got there at 2:34pm to be told ‘sorry we are closed’. I found that very rude and unprofessional. Stay way from that place. There are many better Vietnamese restaurants around the corner that will treat their customers they way they should be treated.
