This new restaurant ticked all the boxes when visiting. Immediately you are welcome with warm and friendly service. The food comes out in a timely manor and they provide a clean eating environment. When you enter, the relaxing music greets you with the white & wooden vibe the place has. Every detail from the cutlery holders to the plants in the corners added to the feel of the experience. And yes, it gets better… The food was quick to come out, fresh and flavourful. The barley tea and prawn crackers they provided while waiting for the meal were good quality and an overall additive to the experience. If you want good quality food and service with a clean and relaxing aesthetic; I highly recommend the next time you pass by South Brisbane you swing by and check it out. This little restaurant is great for a family outing or a quick bite for lunch, it doesn’t disappoint. I know I’ll definitely visit again.

Where do I even start?! My bro fervently recommended this local hidden little gem. Goodness gracious! What stellar food! Chinese/Malaysian done simple and satisfyingly superb - not oily, not complicated, just joyful Asian food affair! - chicken satay was a treat, chicken was well seasoned and sauce was just right - the bok choy, soft yet enough texture to compliment your mains - extra chicken satay because why not! - prawn pork wontons, supple and tasty - fried kway tao, delicious Lovely service Kept seeing the staff bring every takeaway order out looking for the customer even when they were far away Small restaurant but very cosy and clean Well done! Keep the quality and service up and you guys won’t go wrong 🙏🏽

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fantastic dumplings and laksa — a must-visit spot! New Alley is a true hidden gem! The pork dumplings were juicy and full of flavor, with a perfectly crispy bottom and soft, delicate wrap. The laksa was rich, fragrant, and had just the right amount of spice — comforting and satisfying in every bite. The restaurant has a cozy, modern atmosphere, and the service was warm and attentive from start to finish. Whether you’re after a quick bite or a relaxing dinner, this place is a winner. Highly recommended!

Affordable delicious asian/chinese cuisine

📍Location - situated in prime location in Woolloongabba in a complex with other restaurants. Plenty of parkings available for restaurant customers.

🪑Seating/Ambience - enough indoor seating available. Very clean and tidy table and chairs. Furniture looks new and clean.

👩🏼‍💼Service - QR code is used for food orders and payments which makes food ordering quick and easy.

🍽️ Food - Variety of food options available.

They provide free snacks (prawn chips) it taste delicious. And it made the food waiting time feel less. It’s literally like after you’ve finished you snacks and the dishes soon arrived.

Roasted duck fried rice was heavenly delicious. Food taste fresh and healthy. The hidden kimchi in the middle of fried rice was a surprise.

Bak Choy was well presented. Recommend the sauce to be served separately otherwise it can be too salty. Glad that they offer small veggies dish like this to balance the fibre intake.

Sliced pork stir fry was great. No much extra fat and the meat was tender. Not too salty. It’s a healthy option.

Black pepper beef was on the salty side but portion was big. Maybe request less sauce if order again next time.

💰Affordable price and delicious food and decent portion.

Overall a very nice restaurant in a great location. We will definitely be back.

💖 Food recommendation: Roasted duck fried rice, sliced...

Got freaked out at first because the parking fee looks expensive. But it’s actually free parking for one hour and we didn’t need to pay as well after we were there for almost 2 hours (I think stores can help you to waive the fee)

Had a few dishes, all of them are delicious. Forgot to take pictures because we were too hungry and food was good. Fried dumplings, spicy beef, stir fry mix vegetables, char kway teow were all very nice. Also ordered fried ice cream and the little custard buns as dessert. Fried ice cream was so huge. Both were delicious. Environment was clean, service was very good. And the free entry (special prawn crackers) were so tasty, different from the one that we usually sees. This one was...
