Oporto - The Barracks — Restaurant in Brisbane City

1 star is too much for this poor quality oportos. This place needs to be inspected from work health and safety and then shut down to never serve again. Iv gone to this oportos over 30times all the workers know me and are still rude and not helpful, 1 day I found a eyelash and the manager tried to deny but still replaced the food (not the hole meal) aparently it’s wrapped seperate so he won’t and then I came again next day to find a eyebrow and then the next day to find a full on hair and then the next day to find a shaving off metal of a scourour this all happend in the span of one week, then all these times the manager/owner acted like I was complaining about nothing and denied it being their fault as they don’t use anything like that at their store, I still persisted and kept going to find the next day I found another hair again then I persisted again just for me to find a cut peice of latex glove inbedded in my chicken this place is TRASH...

Horrible service from the nonchalant cashier, the only good thing about this place is the pigeon. He walks through the door straight into the kitchen and no one bats an eye, I start giggling and the cashier finally seems to have noticed him. He does the most half-assed attempt I’ve ever seen to shoo the pigeon away, he eventually does leave the kitchen but is quickly back for more in another five minutes. Would be an easy 5/5 if the food wasn’t incredibly mediocre aswell. Maybe they should let the pigeon in, pay some homeage to Ratatouille, give him a wage and you might actually start making some...

We ate here because the sushi place was closed. It was ‘fine’. A pigeon wandered out of the kitchen while we were ordering, which was pretty amusing. Staff seemed unphased. Would eat here again if: had a hankering for hot chips, or there was nothing else open.

Both ordered the Chicken Salad Bowl for $12.75. Size is very small, and the chicken was very dry. But the salad itself was fresh and tasty. A lot of sauce though.
