Darling Darling — Restaurant in Fremantle

I’d been wanting to come here for a few months and remembered it again last night. Was full so went for a walk and came back but got in after waiting a couple of minutes 🤞.

A delightful candlelit atmosphere met us inside the 1890 pirate 🏴‍☠️ themed interior. I thought the debris on the floor and tables were wood shavings at first until I sat at the bar to order our spiced rum!

Once I started shucking the complimentary peanuts I realised the floor, bar and tables were covered in peanut 🥜 casings!

I highly recommend coming here and will definitely be back on a windy and rainy winter’s evening...

Very interesting little place. Only 3 stars for food because it's just peanuts, but they are free so don't complain 😂

Really love the vibe/ambience in here, staff are super polite, friendly and chilled (we've been a couple times and been served by different staff each time but service is always consistently on point).

The cocktails are nice too but a bit different so just be aware that what you get might not taste exactly like what you're used to, some experimentation is required, but its not a huge menu so that's easy enough to do.

Definitely worth a check out if you like your bars dark,...

I came to freo to see a gig and came for a drink and check out the place as I had it saved, and omg, it is super bloody cool!!!

They had live music, which was a lovely and talented woman playing violin!! Made me feel like I was actually in a ship, listening to some sea shanties on the sea!! Hahhahaah

And the drinks were absolutely delicious, I had forgotten what I had ordered, but I remember it being great!!! Will definitely come again for the peanuts and vibes !!!...
