Really? 5 stars, either pretty desperate or not knowledgeable about seafood. Only having just started working up the road from this joint i thought I'd give it a go. Never going back. Took so long to get order then when I get to work i open my 2 small containers of seafood cocktail sauce only to find both different colours. One tasted like vinegar and the other so spicy couldn't eat it then I had more crumbs than calamari given how small they were, could of gone to maccas for a better meal. DISGUSTING

Very impressed with Luke taking the time to personally text me regarding my review and I have had a total change of heart just because I was told to go back to the shop and get another order which ended up being absolutely scrumptious, absolute great customer service for having done this and following up a review of course I have already forgotten the 2 lovely men that work there who provided me with an apology with a smile, needless to say I am going back there today for more. I don't often leave a review, but respectable institutions like this deserves to be known about. This has to be the best Fish and Chip shop on the Gold Coast. I am particular on some of these more traditionally humble, laid back meals maintaining humble, laid back prices.

The prices are very competitive. Hamburger with extras, $10, and it's really good. Infact, all burgers are cheap, and all burgers are so darn tasty.

The fish is great, from a simple cheap cut to a more premium cut, they are good, size fillets with great batter and great quality chips.

The food and the prices make this feel more than a business but an institution. It's no suprise they...

It was a while back when I visited but I just read the first review which was negative so I thought I better add mine. Well in a nutshell so far its been the best fish and chips I ve had on the GC so far. Look I did choose and then get them too cook fresh fish from the display instead of their normal served fish. And that obviously cost more but man it was well worth it!! Thick, fresh, battered fish. Not the normal rubbery, imported, fish with that much batter on it you get an upset stomach by the time you bite into the fish. Excellent fish and chips. I live quite a long way from this shop but if I feel like a REALLY AWESOME FEED OF FISH AND CHIPS I ll take...
