I am an Australian who fell in love with Brazilian hospitality and food through my husband and our trips to Brazil. Casa Brasil delivered us the opposite of what I have learned to expect of Brazilian hospitality. No friendly greeting, we were asked to go collect our own meals from the counter, ask for and collect our own cutlery, ask for glass with ice for our drink and collect that also. The staff requested to speak Portuguese with my husband instead of English - luckily I came with him and not Aussie friends. We regularly go to our local Brazilian restaurant in Brisbane where the OWNER shakes your hand as you leave, thanking you for your visit - in English OR Portuguese. Australia deserves to know and learn the beauty and love that Brazilians deliver through their hospitality and I hope our experience was a one off. As for the food - my 4 cheese steak had near no sauce, I believe undercooked to my requested medium (but I’m not a steak pro) and the sauce was flavourless and lacking a creamy feel. My husband’s feijoada was fine, a bit bland but he did eat every part - but I rarely see him leave rice or beans on a plate. No sauce on table to help with flavour. I didn’t take a photo before beginning my steak as I was so excited :( we mentioned these issues as we left but after asking again to speak Portuguese the staff just said sorry. We visited around 4:30 20/7.

The Casa Brasil is an awesome Place to eat. Go There, oyu will have really tasty food. I ate 3 Times in a row in one Session, so much to That haha They have real brasilian food, Like manioca, pudim, Rice with beans with picanha (meat) and i advice you to add Farofa to it (2$ extra but the taste is the best with it). The Service and i think its the Owner himself are very Kind, smiling at you (some more some less). They will Take your Order as you Wish it to be. The Atmosphäre/Ambiente/Location is really nice, comfortable, and you could spend time there inside or outside (outside is Traffic but its quiet calm), in a small group, alone, or a big group in the Back. Nice brasil calming music is running. So i can fully recommend you this Restaurant, as the taste is really Like it should be. The Juices are fresh Made, so really fresh i mean. Watermelon, Orange, Lemon, Ananas. (Suco de caju is Not fresh, but they have it in bottle, for those who are seeking for it). Prices are really good for what you get. I mean i spend around 50-60 but u ate for 2 Persons haha The Place itself is Just after the Bridge Like 3 minutes by feet. Central and easy to Go in the Main Street. The Pictures cant Tell the Feeling Here, cant get better ones, Just have a meal her and you will Love it.

I'll start off by saying, what you see was just for me .. but wait, before you judge, hear me out.. I have a friend from Brazil which I sent the menu too so I just ordered what was suggested to me. For a list of what I ordered I have added a photo. The food was just outstanding, considering I got it delivered everything was still super fresh and hot and the beef really tender. Even though everything was so tasty, the stand out for me was those desserts. That chocolate cake thingy .. ahhhhh. I would fly back down there just to have that again! It was a mousse like texture, almost like a semifreddo cake. (Maybe that's what it is but I'm not sure ) Anyway, back to what I ordered. I went on holiday alone and those I sent the pictures too said the same thing, "who is with me as there's no way I will eat all that by myself". Not sure if that was the proudest moment of my life but totally worth it . The picture with the thumb up was my leftovers, I actually got three servings out of one order. (Now I don't feel so bad) If you want to give some Brazilian food a try then definitely check out this place. When I'm up that way next I'm heading straight there to get some cake! Thanks for the great feed James

We had an answer 9 months ago from this business and I am replying after just having read it yesterday (and unfortunately): The house was not full in the day we were served for the second time with a extremely salted picanha and nearly entire dish. For the first time it was just the picanha and beens. Actually the house not being full was the very first thing I observed after having received a second bad costumer service from you. Before ordering and paying I really enphazised to Andressa about this very same bad experience in our last visit. Sorry but Andressa never ever came to the table to check if that time the very same dish was not salted. Even if the house was full it was her obligation as a competent staff to quickly come to our table and ask about our satisfaction for the payed dish. We didn't have to talk to her at all or to any other staff about it, in first place because it was a repetition of the same mistake. We didn't have this obligation or even to be obliged to the considerations as guests of your business toward your profissional behaviour you alleged in your reply. It is exactly the other way around! Also when we go to a restaurant, being it a family business or a corporated restaurant chain business, despite to be aware about the level of difficulties in revenue (AND WE CONSIDERED IT IN THE DAY OF YOUR FIRST MISTAKE AND EVEN BEING IN LOSS), as any frequent guest we want to be well served in all areas of costumer services but manly for the food we pay to enjoy! Usually a restaurant business that keep this professional knowledge and accuracy goes from family business to a bigger business or at least avoids negative reviews in Google and operates as a well stablished business. The only acceptable reply from you as a more matured and wise manager, owner or whoever wrote the answer should be: Hi Adriano and Fabiula, please come to our premises or give as your bank account because we want to refund the money you wasted for a second time despite we got a negative review in the internet being a family business. And you could add in the end also to this only appropriate answer your words "Our Brazilian community is amazing and flourishing right throughout Queensland!" which implied that your guests are not amazing, and being them from any race or ethnic group, and to worse things that you don't need us as costumers and much less as guests of your business. Well, if you don't need us we need you much less!!! And sincerely our lives don't change because what you think about us. What we just want from you is to be treated and served appropriately. There is a famous old say amongst Brazilians or in the Brazilian culture that should apply to you: GROW and APPEAR! "CRESÇA e APAREÇA"! And of course in first place not as a successful stablished business but in attitude and professional attitude because what comes next is just a consequence. Think about that before throwing on others the responsibility you must have that arises from your faults and mistakes. As your guests we deserved also a better answer and treatment. Lie down to wait from me accepting moral lessons from people that must still grow a lot! But even having received such an offensive and unmatured answer from you I decided to reply you under overal 3 stars review to show my compassion to you and with wishes that you could mature and grow in the managment of your business. And also to show clearly that my only intention in the first and in this second review it was to be treated accordingly and professionally. My sincere Good Luck to Casa Brazil...
