Absolutely disgusting customer service by staff member Veronica.

Veronica is pushy, impolite and has minimal understanding of customer service.

On many occasions, Veronica has been reluctant to make fresh sandwhiches to order, rather will push the ready made sandwiches on you.

However most recently having ordered a $6 cheese and tomato sandwich I sat in the cafe to enjoy my lunch when unfortunately a gust of wind blew half of my sandwich on the floor. Although not the cafes fault I asked as a gesture of good will and as a regular customer, if they could replace the half cheese and tomato sandwich free of charge. Veronica was in utter disbelief and acted like I had asked for a million dollars. To quote “Are you joking? I do not control the weather” My office, myself included spend on average $200 with Coffeholics each week and this simple gesture would not have been unreasonable. Upon return to my office, my manager was disgusted on my behalf and called Veronica over the phone. She again was extremely rude but agreed to replace the half sandwich. Upon return to the cafe 20 mins later to pick up my sandwich, which I now had no appetite for, she hadn’t made it, rather pretended to not know who I was. After a brief explanation she proceeded to make the sandwich for me all the while sarcastically smiling at me and making me feel very uncomfortable.

I hope the 20 cents to replace the half sandwich was worth the loss of a regular...

Came in today for a toasted sandwich, just tomato & cheese, charged $7.50, when a classic sandwich such as ham & cheese is $6.50 🤔 or even chicken, cheese & avo! Perhaps tomato’s have gone up in price?? I asked the question to have the person serving me roll her eyes “behind my back”, lucky for her I saw. It was a simple question? Are your customers not allowed to ask...

The staff here are so friendly and welcoming. The coffee is the best I’ve had since moving to Australia from the UK. Not only is the food delicious there is a large variety of options to have- from salads to brownies to burgers. Can not recommend this place enough. Best place to have your work break if you want cheerful conversation...
