Judicial Cafe — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

I had a CPR and first aid course today in Southport (through Gold Coast training college, also highly recommend) and stopped by the judicial cafe for a coffee, my card wouldn’t work on my phone so they trusted me to come back at lunch time and pay. At lunch I came back and asked if they had any vegan options for food, while they didn’t really, chef Costa (sorry if wrong spelling) went above and beyond to create a delicious vegan friendly wrap from scratch for me at a very decent price. Disappointed with the newly re-opened Judicial Cafe. The menu is a disgrace and feels like it was written by an english pub owner from the 1970s, with Chiko Rolls and Wing Dings thrown in to appeal to the Aussie Bogans? The coffee is decent, however the new owners seem to have moved in without updating anything. Same old name, same old furnishings, two empty display cabinets sitting in the dining room. A fresh coat of paint, some new fittings, and a modern chef will be the only things that see this cafe last where it is. I hope they fix the...

Wow what a wonderful little café, run by a lovely family. The first time I have eaten here and most certainly I will be back. The food was absolutely amazing, fresh and huge. I had the freshest most beautiful Chicken, cheese, avocado and salad sandwich (the best one I have ever had in my life). The rest of my table adored their food also. On top of the amazing food was sensational customer service. I recommend any one to go to this café for an eating sensation. Thank you Costa and family for a terrific dining experience. 110%...
