Govindas Coolangatta — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

I gave your restaurant the chance to respond to me for almost 48 hours, but with nothing I felt it only fair for the public to know of my experience. I have suffered food poisoning for the past 48 hours and only now starting to recover. Govindas was the only solid food that I ate that day so clearly the only option to where this issue came from. I arrived around 20 minutes before closing and ordered some lasagne. Only 2 pieces left. It tasted very dry but I was home by now . I would suggest spending time training your rather youthful staff the importance of this matter (serving food that is potentially dangerous ) be a matter of priority for you. I have not been able to work the past 2 days due to my health. Not happy. Not happy that I gave your business the chance to respond to my email but nothing . Very disappointed former...

An excellent store which caters for all types of vegetarian meals. The menu is more than adequate to satisfy anyone's requirements. All foods are freshly made on a daily basis & you can order more than one choice on your order. This store has seating both indoors and outdoors. Staff are more welcoming when it comes to service & there is more than enough food put on plate. Takeaway meals are also catered for. Conveniently located in Griffith Street, Coolangatta, I found that there was a steady flow of customers purchasing this quality food. Covid-19 Pandemic practices in place...

The lasagne is divine comfort food. The staff are varied and wonderful most of the time. Only one interesting person in all the times we visited but lucky I wasn’t served by her. All dishes delish. Our favourite go to out of the entire area of 2km and more (and we have tried many in the area over the years. Avoid the Indian places and the Asian is meh/passable. Forget Mexican. Others are either over priced for what you get or sort of ok.. Bambi is our other go to… we have done fine in, takeaway, all good options! Worth the prices! Desserts...
