Last Night on Earth — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

As I spent two months travelling through the darkest depths of Asia, I needed cleansing Ale but not just any cleansing Ale, an Australian ale not one that has been purchased by overseas interest, one that has owned and made in Australia, you know Australia’s supporting Australia, local support supporting locals kinda beer.! So i walked up to the bar “one jug of young Henry please” I was approached bar a gruff gentlemen said “ how can I help you mate” and then a smile cracked quite aesthetically pleasing and charismatic, Pete I believe was his name, “$15 dollars for the jug mate ” he said, to my shock what am i still in Asia? Why is so cheap? $15 for a jug??? Is there something going on this is Australia overpriced and over taxed how can this be!! Throughout the evening, I started to get this really homely Cheers vibe, you know where everyone knows your name. Then the band comes on “Locky and the lobster men” well stuff me who would’ve thought a bunch of Zgen kids could rock that shit out all the sweet stuff from the 70’s 80’s 90’s and 2000.. So I got a gut full of Aussie beer listening to awesome live tunes!! Well what do you do next off to the bathroom.!! So I’m walking to the bathroom it was nothing but pure art, graffiti installations quotes it was fricking awesome literally intrigued most of the way all the way down to the pisser then literally pissed myself laughing at the graffiti on the walls. So it’s getting towards the end of the night it’s time for a nightcap what is on the cocktail list? Cheeky Charlie to name a few, so that’s it im done time to leave i thought, oh one more beer won’t kill me, I woke up in Carey park naked and afraid well I may of if Pete didn’t say mate, it’s time i walked you to your uber, like this place has a concierge as well incredible just incredible what a place what a night.!! Last night on earth? More like the worst night on earth. I was with Kylie who posted the one star review and I agree with what happened. What's even worst is that the manager took Kylie phone off the table which we are using. When we asked who took the phone. Not one person even the manager told us who has the phone. When we were at the stairwell to ring it. The manager had the phone and showed it off to me like a loud mouth, the staff laughed at us. It's not funny to laugh at the fact our mobile phone could have been stolen.

When Kylie mentioned I have a disability and wanted to just have a good night watching comedy. He acted aggressively and yelled I don't care. If that's how he treats people, imagine how he treats his closest family members. What if a person had a intellectual disability, would he treat him horribly like he did to us?

My friend booked for 20 people on the roof top, got there, the person at the bar said he had no idea about the booking even though she showed him the Facebook message trail. So everyone made their way to the rooftop anyway to sort it out ourselves. Another staff member was putting together tables. When he left we sat down at the tables. Then he came back and very rudely told us we couldn’t sit there it’s reserved for a table of 20, can’t we see the sign?! (Reserved was written on the black table, not a pop up like sign like you usually see). When we told him we were the table of 20, he snapped “well no one told me you were here”.
