Mad Mex Pacific Fair — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

After putting the initial review up and getting a response, i aas hoping perhaps something was taken on board. My daughter wanted mad mex to celebrate tonight something she did. We were not going to considering 5 orders have previously missed items or were incorrect. However we ordered.

I ordered 4 queso with our meals and yet again... they messed up. We got 1 at least this time as we usually get none. 1 of 4 in the bag. How hard is it to read!!!

Never again 😒 after this order.

Original review: its unfortunate that the staff constantly let this place down. The food in general is good. Tasty. So much so we order it on uber a couple times a month because it's too far to drive...

Yet every second order, no word of a lie misses items. I constantly have to put through to uber refund requests.

You can almost always guarantee if you order queso tubs for your cornchips. They won't be put in. Every single time. Its terrible. Over $70 for takeaway but the kids love it, and to miss 4 queso sauces that's paid for is poor service. Also it's a roll of the dice if the rice will be lovely and delicious or so hard you can't eat it.

I hope you can read this and take the constructive criticism because I'd give it a better rating if staff paid...

My husband and I went here for dinner tonight on a whim. It was the best decision all day. The restaurant was clean and well presented with lived in charm, the many different tables were well stocked with good quality napkins and sauces. The food looked and tasted so crisp and fresh it was like it was chopped and mashed just for us as we walked in. You can taste the love which is always the most important ingredient. The only thing fault I could find with the food was it was a little too spicy for me but that's something that would bug me and no one else and is definitely not their fault. Maria was so helpful talking me through the all options as I have have food allergies and an aversion to things too spicy and am often cautious when eating out. Despite being somewhat busy, she spoke to me like I was the only person in the world and had all the time to talk. She offered to put the sauce in a little cup for tasting purposes, gave a little extra toppings, went out of her way to get us the coldest drinks and was above all the most pleasant friendly and wonderful worker I've come across at Pacific Fair. Most are rude, snobby and just not nice to interact with. We thanked her after the meal and she acted like it was her lucky day that we'd picked there for dinner and she was just beautiful. May every good thing...

Ok, let's be clear the food is good. No problems there at all if you're craving Mexican this is the place to go, however! These guys have no idea how to manage orders. We ordered nachos and a quesadilla but when they started going through the options, fillings, toppings etc. They went through them in the reverse order without being clear about which one we were doing options for so we ended up with toppings for the nachos on the quesadilla and toppings for the quesadilla on the nachos.... -_- not completely disastrous but definitely don't recommend coming here if you don't have the energy to engage in the process fully.

They've attempted to clone Guzman's menu with Subways ordering process and.... It just doesn't work.

Also don't bother with the churos they're a major disappointment, no where near crunchy enough, and nowhere near enough...
