Nando's Australia Fair — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

Tried to give this store a second chance tonight and was left completely disappointed.

Ordered online in advance and was waiting well over 45 minutes when the place was not even busy. Everyone who came after me got their orders first and if I didn't chase mine up, I would've never received it.

The girl is completely reckless. She had mistaken my (very obvious) girl name for a boy name and handed my order over to a boy who had a similar name. I don't know how you could possibly confuse Diana to Dan. The male server was nice and had great customer service, so props to him for making this experience semi-tolerable.

When my order came almost an hour after waiting, at this point I was too upset with my experience that I couldn't even bother eating my food anymore.

This is my second time being served with extremely slow service by the same girl. I have personally worked in hospo and retail and I can't imagine how someone could stay in a work environment like this if they can't even do their job properly.

Sorry for the bad review, but I felt that tonight's experience really...

Erana you shouldnt be in customer service if you cant handle someone wanting a refund for not being treated properly in your resturant, ordered a simple easy to cook cheese n bacon burger meal for $24.90 which never appeared i was never given my drink i purchased for the long wait i was about to endure, after ordering and being sat down at my table, a large group and several other groups had started to pile in as it was lunch time, i was in your resturant from 12.00 to 12.45pm and still had not recieved any food yet all the tables around that arrived after i had ordered, they were all finishing theyre meals and due to this neglegence i wanted a refund, Erana you then tried to make a scene with your rude snarky remarks and rushed the order out as soon as i requested a refund theb decided to attack me verbally. I sat there calmy waiting for my refund whilst you fumbled around the cashier trying to make any excuse and insult avaiable.

Please nandos management review this employee as she was trying to start a fight with me...

Came with young family on a humid mid 30° day for a quick lunch.

We and the pleasant staff were battling the stifling heat inside though because the ducted air conditioning wasn't working properly.

Something about it being controlled by Australia Fair management. This place needs some strong fans for customer comfort as a backup plan! We were told this cooling issue had been happening for several days.

Service was a bit slow even though we were one of 3 small tables (heat didn't help) and only online ordering from the tables meant little contact with customer service.

I miss Nando's chicken puns and quirky chatty banter with servers.

Quality food though, once it was served. I usually get 'Hot' basted grilled chicken and it didn't disappoint. The potato fries were cold but cooked well and thr sweet potato peri peri fries were a nice change from the original.

Have been a Nando's fan for decades but I won't be back here...
