Was served today at about 11am by the manager ''Dan'' - Apalling service - I lodged an official customer service complaint against him to Head Office right after the incidence - Please re-consider your employment of this person.
As I was putting through my and my husband's order - we had to wait aside to pay for the complete order as one item (chicken & Avo panini) was not due to be made until 3minutes later - To my unfortunate circumstance, I had an agressive rude customer behind us who yelled at your serving staff member ''Hurry I need my coffee'' and as she continued to hurl abuse and stare at myself while waiting - I looked aside and repeated to her keep a social distance in store as she got too close. Your manager Dan comes out and yells at me instead infront of other customers - so I return back apalled at how this was handled - and we got confused as we had to finalise and pay for our order - as I tried to go all the way back to queue in line - Dan yelled back at myself and my husband to embarrass us infront of other customers and said '' Come back! You have to pay for your order'' . Extremely aggressive and rude , I went back and said we were going to pay as we tried to queue in line - I managed to get his name from the staff member Imogen who witnessed this really aggressive way of management. Very terrible image for your store. Hopefully Starbucks head-office can call me back to find out more details and reconsider the management...
Read moreI had a very disappointing experience at the Surfers Paradise Starbucks around 12:20 PM today. I ordered an Iced Americano and an Oat Latte, asking for just less foam on the latte. What I received was more like a cappuccino, full of foam.
When I politely asked the female old Asian staff member about the issue, because she made it, but she roughly threw the drink into the sink, so splashed coffee around widly, and rinsed the cup with water, and she tried to remake the drink in the same cup. When I asked if she was using a new cup, but she glared at me for few seconds, and threw the cup storngly in the trash, and then started over. She never told me 'Sorry.'
I asked for her name, but she refused to tell me—twice. When another male staff member appeared, I asked him, but he also wouldn’t tell me. None of the staff were wearing name tags, which I found unusual for Starbucks.
As I calmly tried to express my concerns, the male staff member suddenly yelled at me to leave the store. I’ve been a loyal Starbucks customer for over 20 years, and this was by far the worst experience I’ve had.
All I wanted was a properly made coffee and a name so I could give feedback. Instead, I was treated with rudeness and hostility. My peaceful holiday afternoon was completely ruined.
Very...
Read morewould give a zero star to this place if possible. ordered a drink that was sold out. male bartender was super nice and talked to me in a calm manner. i ordered a matcha frapp w no sugar syrup.
a young white lady proceeded to make my new drink. Asked if i could switch to oat milk... she let out a big sigh and rolled her eyes bc she had alr poured the cream milk. she didnt clean it properly and changed it. understand the busy day and she could tell me it was impossible to change. didnt appreviate the attitude. afterwards, she proceeded to add a lot of sugar syrup in my drink. i didnt appreciate that either
after wards, a slightly older asian lady was in charge of putting whip cream. knowing that matcha frappe adds whip cream, i told her its fine without whip cream. she proceeded to tsk me and said its not for u. afterwards when she passed it to me, she kinda pushed it towards me. it alm fell. she knew it too as she took a second look.
overall, i understand its a bz place i dont think i was demanding as i wasnt going anywhere. i feel like such attitude brings the shop in a rlly bad light. i do appreciate the male worker for speaking to me nicely. however, i think it truly makes this starbucks a very negative vibe for me esp bc im on vacay and was in a...
