Been here twice, service is always friendly and fast. Servings are not do big so great for me, small eater lol..Food is ok, nothing amazing, but if you are in a hurry, you can expect food to he served fast, compared to the old Dome Cafe. They were quite busy but still managed a fast enough service. On our first visit, my husband said his breaky burger was a bit boring. My chicken, bacon and avocado wrap was ok, maybe needs sauce( at home we use garlic yoghurt which makes a big difference). On our second visit, we brought our son who enjoyed his potato rosti and iced coffee. My roast beef was very tender, though I had to ask for more sauce as some bits of beef need sauce,vI cannot enjoy them dry. At home, we love plenty of sauce / gravy on our roast meat, it's the best bit, especially eaten with mash, needs gravy. Salad was good, love the fresh tomatoes and red onions and spinach. My husband had lamb souvlaki and he preferred it rolled up. It was served whole flat and this way makes the food go cold quickly. Would have been nice 🗞️. His coffee was very good according to him. My English breakfast tea was better this time, water was really hot, last time my tea wasn't that hot. Overall, we'll be back to try other dishes. Was eyeing the pancakes but didn't see fruits unlike Rhyme Street cafe's version with fresh strawberries and grapes so not sure, maybe crepes, next time? I think they should be more generous with sauces, they add lots of flavour to dishes. Appearance is just secondary for me, flavour should be the priority. Overall decent meals here, big eaters will probably enjoy the ones with chips as...

Liked the look of this place while walking past and felt that was enough to try it out.

On entering we sat down and was greeted with a hello from the staff standing behind the counter. We waited for awhile wondering if they came to us or we went to them. Would have been nice to have had one of them tell us we ordered at the counter. I decided on the Chilli Scrambled Eggs and Frappe with espresso shot. This came to just over $30.

The food arrived in reasonable time. It looked yummy enough although the eggs looked like they'd been squeezed out a tube. I expected the scrambled eggs to be hotter but the food was still ok. The Frappes I know off in Europe don't usually come with a heap of cream on top but I guess it's different everywhere.

Like I said, the staff were very friendly. The place looks nice and well laid out with the usual amenities available. Nice enough food but will most likely try...

To begin with, the front staff were not friendly or welcoming. The two ladies at the counter need to improve how they greet customers, especially given this cafe's central location serving both locals and tourists.

The smashed avocado was horrible. The avocado layer was extremely thin, the salad tasted stale, and there was no seasoning overall. I paid an extra $5 for smoked salmon but received only a tiny piece. While the food in the photo may look okay, the actual dish and coffee did not taste good at all.

I also noticed another comment by K. Sharma about the smashed avocado dish. It's obvious that the staff staged the photo, it was on a kitchen bench, not even on a cafe table. Stop fooling yourself and customers with the reviews, you should use the effort and time to think about improving food quality and staff training for...
