Grill'd Burgers - North Hobart — Restaurant in Hobart

4/5 burgers where nice, 1 was inedible causing a headache with customer service and a reluctant refund.

Ordered 5 burgers and chips for the family, 60 minutes in advance for a 6pm collection. I arrived at 6pm and was briefly greeted and asked for my order details and told to sit and wait. We had waited seated for 10 minutes, the waitress asked for my order again and apologised as they had it in the warmer the entire time.

We walked to the car and checked our bag, chips missing, we had to return to the store and yet again wait to receive our chips which where left on the counter.

Arriving home, the chips where cold and had gone soggy. One of the chicken burgers was completely fatty and inedible. Calling we waited on the phone for the 'manager' while they continued to serve other staff - I sat on the phone for over 5 minutes before having to hangup and call again. Recalling I was informed the manager was occupied.

The first time we came, we sat and tried to order at the table through the QR code. I kept getting an error message so got up to try and pay in person. That didn’t work either. Turned out, they couldn’t accept Apple Pay or Google Pay or online payments. Whatever, it happens. Next time we came, we sat and tried to order at the table through the QR code. Not ideal. The third time we came we phoned ahead of time to ask if they had the veg burgers. They did! So we came in, sat down, tried to order through the QR code. No veg burgers. Clown show.

I don’t leave bad reviews easily but the last time I was in Grilld, a couple of years ago, the order got “lost” and took over an hour. Shame it hasn’t got any better but...

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Grill’d North Hobart – Tasty and Satisfying!

This place hits the spot! The Simply Beef burger was tasty and fresh – juicy, with a nice smoky flavor, and filled with fresh lettuce and veggies. The fried chicken was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside – exactly what you want. And the chips? Perfectly seasoned with a sprinkle of parsley, crispy, and super moreish!

The drink was refreshing, and rounded out the meal perfectly. I love the Strawberry one!! The place was busy, but that just added to the lively vibe. Despite the crowd, the food came out fresh and hot. Fast service and always checking out with customer!! Plus they open at late night as well.
