Aggressive impatient impolite mean staff. A restaurant only focus on making money not people.
I'm an ubereats driver and got 2orders near the store at the same time today. This is just my part-time, I'm patient and never go rush.. I went the desk and staff said 2orders are not ready. So all I did was standing the front, smile, and said nothing but wait 10mins. Then customer A asked me from App "did my order ready, I have waited nearly 1 hour". I was amazed, because I never had such a order assigned. So I smiled, and asked staff did the order A finished. The order A is a small order, bread with a coffee. Then the berista put a cup of coffe in to the ordera bag and says it's ready. So I was waiting for order B then.
After the order A was just finished 1 minute, and waitress then blame me so loud in front of full house of customers: "We have finished this order 30-40mins ago, why you pick 2 orders from the app? You should take only one order and finish it. This is your problem, not ours. I will tell the customer, this is Uber driver's problem. Not us." I was blushes. Serious? U just put in a coffee into order A's bag, and u say u finish 30mins ago?btw, the 2orders was assigned to me at the same time, and I'm confused. so I did nothing but smile and say:" I'm all ok. It's just because the customer is asking me the time." I felt so embarrassed because I warm-hearted say "there are customer behind you waiting for paying the bill". And the waitress still blame on me and yell in front everyone to me, "No, I need to finish this Uber driver's problem."
We Ubereat driver can tell nothing from App but the wage and roughly distance when we take the order. I explained with smiles. But still harshly blame.
What's even worse, they give me a thumb down review on Uber App. And customerA gave me a thumb down due to the unhappy ordering experience. Truly speaking, why you so mean?My smile face is all the time, my patient is all the time, but you gave me a thumb down?
This is the worse staff I ever seen in my life. I not sure the problem happens in your app end or your kitchen, but I'm just a driver follow the app instruction. All I did was take 2orders, waited 10mins, friendly asked time, being blamed in front of full house of customer. I was one who really confused what's going on here.
Let me tell you how ubereats run, the Uber system will assign the order to the nearest driver once the order is or about to finish. If there's no driver nearby. System will give order to driver who is more remote. Which means, If the order is processd on time on kitchen, it will be delivered on time. So which means you blamed your delay problem on me. And also let customer blame on me. This is really inhumane.
I'm so sad today. If I were a girl, I will definitely feel depression. My driver rate just fall to 88% from 92% all because of you. Take back your fake smile, because your smile is only built for ppl who pay you money. Your smile gonna be my nightmare. Please watch the CCTV so you can tell how Pathetic staff is, how humble I was....
Read moreWhat a hidden gem, this cafe has made a fabulous addition to the area. In the short time they have been operating, they have turned this cafe into a thriving little hub. The smell of freshly brewed coffee and bacon cooking made it impossible to walk past without stopping in. We stopped in for breakfast and oh my goodness, options galore. The breakfast was huuuge. The staff were so busy but had a smile on their dial, even when impatient customers (only 2) were cranky and quite honestly rude to the staff. I felt these staff members did an amazing job with the amount of people waiting. All food was hot and delicious and the coffee went down a treat. We will be definitely stopping in again and again. For those customers who are impatient, my tip is to pack your manners and have a little understanding when it is busy. I would highly recommend this...

Then for some reason that was never explained, I wasn't allowed to add haloumi to my meal. Then they wouldn't let me add a rosti to a meal with haloumi 🤣 The pigeon hole croissant that I ended up ordering was great thanks to the talented pigeon hole bakers so not all was lost.
