During our recent trip to Hobart, our family of twelve dined at Mirmire Nepali Taste and had an exceptional experience. We sampled a variety of dishes from their menu, including the Nepali Khana Set with mutton curry, chicken curry, chicken momo, veg Khana Set, Dhindo set, veg curry, paneer curry and Chicken Choila Set. Each dish was a delightful burst of flavors, showcasing the authentic taste of Nepali cuisine. The mutton curry was tender and richly spiced, while the chicken curry offered a perfectly balanced taste. The chicken momo, a popular Nepali dumpling, was particularly memorable with its juicy filling and subtle spice. The veg Khana Set was fresh and well-seasoned, and the Chicken Choila Set stood out for its unique and savory preparation. The service at Mirmire was equally impressive. The staff were not only humble and professional but also incredibly helpful, making sure our large group felt comfortable and well-catered to. Their attentive service added to the overall positive experience, ensuring that everything ran smoothly during our meals. Our satisfaction was such that we decided to visit Mirmire again on the following day. The consistency in the quality of food and service was noteworthy, reinforcing our initial impression of the restaurant as a standout in Hobart's dining scene. For anyone visiting Hobart and seeking a genuine Nepali culinary experience, Mirmire Nepali Taste is a highly recommended destination. The combination of delicious food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere makes it a must-visit for food enthusiasts.

I am really sorry to mention this : I was there 30 minutes prior to closing time. I ordered 5 items and got that after very long wait time because we were only the last table there. Momo was very cold and the sauce for steam momo was tasteless because it was just chilli and tomatoes blended. Chowkin was too cold. I asked one of the team member about chicken chilli that i ordered in the beginning, they replied it will be ready soon in couple of minutes time, but i came to know later that it was just started. They were out of Bhutan set, and other items because one young lady said they were really busy before we arrived. I am sorry for your poor costumer service and the quality of food and also the atmosphere there. That was my first anniversary and we were table of 4 for that celebration. I asked for nepalese beer, ( if they have any) , but they dont sell any of that as well. Very good to see nepalese restaurant in Hobart but i am pretty sure service and quality of food can be upgraded. I was also charged extra for take away food that i did because i was running late to drive to launcheston. Thank you so much

Hi consumers, I had very bad experience about this restaurant. I arrived in Hobart after 17 years with my wife, In the evening of first day we arrived, we feel a bit colder than Sydney. So we’re searching Nepalese restaurants to have mo mo.Finally We found this restaurant close to I leave. We ordered 2 plates of steamed chicken mo mo. When mo mo arrived to the table, it was looks two different colour ( slightly brown and white) of pastry. Anyway I was hurry to eat,So I had brown one first,it was okay and after I had second, white one. It was horrible, completely off and sour. Luckily I didn’t swallow, I told my wife also to test white one, she just bite and spit out straight away. Then I told to the service person about mo mo. She told to the chef and they are saying to the girl, it was same batch and start arguing with her. I can hear what was happening in the kitchen. They are not even apologies. Then I told girl don’t worry I will pay for it but, it is completely Illegal to serve food like this. I and my wife ate one each mo mo and paid. Photo also available.

Worst experience we ever had while eating out. We have been here before quite a few times and always served delicious meal. However, this time Kothey momo was served raw, when we complained, the waiter is not even apologizing instead saying the momo wrapper was not good and could not do anything. We asked for fried momo instead as we do not wanted to eat raw food. Then they served fried momo which is very hard like the stone and burned skin. Veg fry momo was so tasteless and burned and hard could not even eat it. Waiter who took our order was hopeless, as we are group of 8, so we gave the waitress plenty of time to take order so there were no confusion and we even confirmed all the order twice. However, we got butter roti instead of butter naan. We had been charged for kothey momo while we had to eat fried momo. Overall, very disappointing we decided not to go there anymore and wont recommend others as well. Hope the owner will read this review and improve the service and food quality for future customer. Plus train the staff how to handle the complain instead of...
