Bento Box on George — Restaurant in Launceston

Would strongly advise against ordering from this site for delivery. Large order for multiple people was put in, however was sent with over half of the order missing. Also - despite ordering for multiple people, none of what was sent was labelled in any way.

We attempted to rectify with the manager over the phone who admitted that they had definitely made an error with the order but refused to simply send out the rest of the order - instead, they wanted us to place another order through Doordash for a can of coke (at our expense!) and would then send the missing items along. Due to the time spent trying to sort this out, the window to order closed and we had to go through the refund process instead meaning half the team missed out on lunch today. The two of us landed in Launceston late, almost everything was closed and we were starving. Luckily for us, we had this cute little restaurant with a large range of options, at a low cost to boot. The girl serving us was the cherry top, she was amazingly attentive to anything we asked.

The next day, we got back from our road trips late again... And it was our first anniversary...we got turned away from other restaurants because it was closing time. We knew exactly where to go.

The girl remembered us, gave us free snacks and went out of her way to change the menu to give us what we wanted in the bento boxes.

My friend and i ordered the yakiniku don and unagi don respectively. On arrival, it was the most disproportionate thing i have ever seen: the bowl was so much larger than the pathetic portion of rice and toppings. Bear in mind that this 16 dollar affair that came with sides can barely be considered a mains, maybe just for children. The sides (prawn crackers and miso) that came along with it was a bandage on a sucking chest wound.
