PLEASE DO NOT SERVE STALE FOOD TO CUSTOMERS.

My wife and I visited this restaurant last week and ordered a vegetable biryani. The dish took about 10-15 minutes to arrive and just by the way it was served, we could tell it had been re-heated. It smelt like it'd turned but I tasted it anyway. It was definitely stale (and don't even get me started on the bland taste)

We informed our waiter and he told us that vegetable biryani is prepared once a day and he would go and ask the chef to re-prepare the dish. Wait another 15 minutes and risk ruining our vacation due to food poisoning? No, thanks. I told the waiter we would be leaving, with as much politeness as I could muster, and he had the gall to ask if we would be paying for the meal.

A few questions here: If you were only re-heating the biryani, why the long wait in the first place? Wouldn't the "chef" make sure the dish atleast tastes right before serving it to customers?

Please strive to improve your...

After having dinner at this place in Launceston… initially the service was a bit clumsy and mediocre. We had our meals and when the entrees came out, the chicken was a little tough to cut through as if it had been refrigerated and mildly reheated - note: the taste was ‘a bit off’ so to say. The rest of the meals meal were just ok… and we cracked on with our dinner, the big issue was at 5 am the next morning I had a horrible pain in the stomach and gastro for two hours before departing on a 4 day hike in Tassy… FYI, I had not eaten any lunch previously and had an easy breakfast the day before, so no unrelated concerns there…. the dinner meals were ok at the time but, thankfully after 6 ‘movements’ in 2 hours before departure (0500) I came good with the purchase of appropriate medication. Personally, I would not go back again… but noting the reviews… take the chance...

Delicious food. Excellent service. Friendly staff that catered to all the variations we asked for in terms of spice level, etc. My wife was craving for Yellow dal tadka, which was not on their menu, but what really impressed me was the restaurant accommodated the request and made one specially for us. This really shows their commitment to customer service, super impressed. We ordered Yellow dal, garlic naan, aloo mutter, tikki chat and biryani. All dishes were freshly prepared & tasted very good. Walked away as a very happy customer. Highly recommend and would not mind visiting again on our next trip...

I ordered the chicken biryani and was really disappointed — it was way too salty. The flavor and aroma that usually make biryani enjoyable were completely overpowered by the saltiness. Even the rice and chicken pieces were heavily seasoned, making it hard to enjoy more than a few bites. I had high expectations, but this batch really missed the mark. It would’ve been much better with a proper balance of spice and salt. Hoping the restaurant pays more attention to taste consistency next time because presentation and portion were fine, but the flavor just wasn’t right.

We ordered via Uber Eats. First time customers. Appalled by the food received. Tandoori Chicken half - literally two tiny chicken legs and a couple of slices of breast in a container. That’s NOT a half serve for $26.00. Then let’s talk about the butter chicken…. Four pieces of chicken in a container of sauce. This is not a meal. It’s a rip off and we are very unhappy. Called the restaurant and they didn’t care or want to know. Will definitely never go back. Not recommended. Spent over $65.00 but never again at this place. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

The best Indian food I've had in a long time. The explosion of flavours was just amazing! In fact, I really can't express it in the right words to sum up how much this food was BOMB! My contentment level is through roof. But that's just me. Only one small critic, the raita was lovely, but a little sweet for my palette. Nothing wrong with it, I just prefer a little more sour.
