Martinis Cocktail Lounge — Restaurant in Launceston

This is currently my favourite bar in Launceston. It’s almost a secret it is so unobtrusive to the passer by but once inside, The Kingsway has great Tasmanian beer and cider on tap, an inspiring range of spirits and the owner and staff know their products and present not only great service but are genuinely lovely people who make you feel at home at here. There’s Live music on Friday and Saturday nights, film nights held regularly and a fantastic ambience with comfy couches and long tables equipped with stools. This was the port in our storm. We had just finished up at the industrial James Boag Brewery tour and needed to see what was happening locally. We were treated to 4 different local beer tasters on the house to help guide our palate and pick the beer we wanted. I felt immediately at home sitting in the comfy seating while chatting with the owner. Could be good good but every time I go there it's just loud with everyone trying to talk over each other & it's not because of the music being too loud because there is basically no music at all.
