We ordered savoury danish, pain au chocolat, sourdough toast, and some other pizza-like breads.

The savoury danish was miraculous. An absolute work of God. It was crispy and flaky throughout. Not a single soggy patch on it. The cheese topping and the greens compliment each other very beautifully. I could not imagine even a single way in which this danish could be improved. It is perfection. My mind cannot conceive a better danish than this.

Pain au chocolat was flaky on the outside and soft on the inside. Very nice.

I can tell the sourdough toast is made from fresh bread and it was amazing. Despite the lack of alveoli, it still had that distinct tartness youโ€™d expect from a quality sourdough.

Did not try the other pizza-like breads but I heard good things from my friends who ate them.

Quick, excellent, and friendly service as well! Surely will come back when in the area for their revolutionary...

A gem in Launceston! The atmosphere is fantastic, and the service is both friendly and fast. We've tried a variety of items on separate occasions, including the ham and cheese croissants, ham and cheese toasties, soy lattes, long blacks, and soy hot chocolate โ€“ all of which were excellent. The pickles served alongside the delicious toastie with its cheese-crusted top were a particular highlight. We're also grateful to the hardworking staff for keeping the bakery open during the New Year holiday period. While the line may be long, the service is incredibly efficient...

Tuesday morning brunch. I had a ham and cheese toasted sandwich and a bottle of mandarin somethingโ€ฆthe drink was disappointing.

The room itself is a little spartan but sunny and suitable for a nice slow read of the news, if not for the very aggressive and slightly-too-loud music blasting from the speakers.

But the food! Served at the perfect temperature, with crisp golden bread, and with a cheese that added a fabulous salty tang to every bite, this sandwich was delicious! It also came with a small side of truly wonderful pickles. I would eat here again in...
