The best ice cream in Tasmania! Really lovely shop front… looks just like a little house tucked away on a quiet street. Find this place…. It’s so worth it! An abundance of original flavours, all natural and with natural colourings, lovingly crafted by the owners, who have clearly put their heart and soul into being the best ice creamery around. The ice creams are all made with jersey milk, and hand made on the premises. The sorbets are out of this world delicious!!! The shop offers a decent loyalty card discount deal, and the super friendly staff are happy for you to try all the flavours. The flavours are changed regularly, and are creatively invented. The decor inside is clean and fresh and homely, with murals on the walls and plenty to keep kids entertained. We will definitely come back to taste their Halloween specials!

The best dessert spot in Launceston! 😍🍨 The owner and employees are the most wonderful people. They encourage every customer to try all 13 flavours of their ice cream and each flavour is truly one of a kind. They’re homemade from quality Australian ingredients unlike any store bought ice cream. I loved their honey macadamia and apple guava. Also their choc mint hot choc was yum as well! My partner and I came here 3 days in the week that we stayed in Launceston. I’ll definitely be back to try more flavours if I have the chance. Their brunch waffle was also delicious. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This family owned business dares to create unforgettable flavours (that are also exceedingly delicious!). Their cones are made in store too! The service is beyond even American standards for friendliness and helpfulness. The flavours rotate seasonally and based on the creativity of the owners. They’ve also just won several awards outcompeting the better known Tasmanian ice cream brands. 12/10 - will come here every time we visit Launceston.

Some of the best ice cream I've ever had. We'd never have found this place if we hadn't googled ice cream shops as it looks like a residential house. It's a bit outside the CBD but worth making a detour for. The owner is so friendly and happy to chat and explain his flavours. The flavours change regularly and are adventurous (olive ice cream, curry ice cream to name 2) but there are standard flavours as well. The owner offers multiple free tastings so you can make sure you choose something you like. I had jersey caramel and mixed fruit sorbet. It was a huge portion! And for AUD8 such good value. There's a loyalty card scheme but unfortunately we were tourists so couldn't...

I could chew your ear off about how amazing Devils Own is... here are the highlights after getting the special chance to speak with Martin (one of the owners). The entire product is made in house. They make their own cones. They make everything that goes into their ice cream - cookie pieces, gingerbread, raspberry syrup, caramel - you name it, they make it. They use local Jersey milk to give it extra mouthfeel from the higher fat content. Every flavour is absolutely amazing. Cannot wait to return. You can taste the love they put in everything they do!

Thank you Martin!! You've won the hearts of these two...
