Very disappointed… approached the counter to order my coffee, not even a ‘Hi’ …. then she forgot the order and we had to remind her, as she prioritised someone’s sandwich over our coffees - we ordered first. Coffee luke warm and no coffee taste, with a premium price tag. I don’t mind paying- but for the price you charge please make the coffee nice !! We are staff and if the coffee if good we come regularly. So quality is important… unfortunately once the coffee is bad, lots of other staff won’t waste...

This place is easily missed if you didn't venture down the departure hall corridor leading to more food places. Quite aptly named Middle Ground for its central location along the corridor!

Enjoyed the falafel and tabbouleh salad as one of the many light meal options. The vegetables in the salad were fresh, although the falafel was a bit dry and needed the sauce dip. Chai latte was average, nothing memorable. As an airport eatery, bottled water is pricey. Best to carry your own...

Coffee Lane at Melbourne Airport is a fantastic spot, especially for travelers on a long transit!
