This venue has made it into my list of recommended places to go especially for lunch. The day manager, Hemma, is one of the most delightful people you can imagine. He, and the venue itself on his watch, is warm, inviting, friendly, and professional. Other staff, like Addis (who’s also a budding musician) are equally kind, knowledgeable, and will make you feel more than welcome. They have an excellent range and selection of wines both by the glass and the bottle and the staff are more than happy to offer you recommendations should you want to expand your palate a little. The food is equally excellent and the chefs Ray and Powana do a fabulous job. I highly recommend any of their pizzas - they’re excellent in both taste and price. Pop by for lunch or after...

Bit unusual to post feedback for me but this afternoon wasn't great, initially the lady on was really lovely but once we've got upstairs and put an order through for couple of coffees, things went awry. Bit of time passes, so check on coffees , docket was lost. Then no apology of any sort, two coffees delivered and the third forgotten about. Young guy who went to follow up was really nonchalant and made it out to seem we'd made a mistake ordering through the QR and.asked for receipt which was fine. I've.always.enjoyed coming here but I don't think we willbe back. Poor...

Good corner pub. Nice decor. Cosy ambience. Visited with a friend for a pre dinner drink on a Thursday evening. Some good Happy Hour specials. I opted for the $12 Aperol Spritz, which was excellent! True to my nature, I paid in cash with a $20 note. The server came back to me and said they didn't have change, which I found odd. I gave them an extra $2 and received a $10 note, so all good in the end. But I can't help wondering what would have happened if I didn't have that? Charge me the extra for paying by card? Or get the drink for...

Tucked into Bank Place, Melbourne, Dikstein's is a cozy wine spot brimming with European charm. Its menu keeps it simple yet appealing with standout 11-inch pizzas come evening. The place is an ideal nook for sipping on fine wines while indulging in hearty, European bites. Yes, prices lean towards the higher side, both for drinks and pizzas, and beer lovers might find options limited. But with its laid-back atmosphere, attentive service, and a focus on wines, it's a welcoming retreat for those looking to relax and dine well.

Stumbled across this place looking for somewhere for an afternoon drink before we had to fly out. Had a bottle of wine to share and ordered their Malbec which was delightful. The bar is quaint and has a lot of character. The outside lane definitely has a European feel about it which really makes you forget you're in Melbourne. Great service - staff are very friendly and accommodating! We didn't order any food but the smell of food wafting from the kitchen made it very tempting! Maybe next time :)
