Greenzilla Vegan and Vegetarian — Restaurant in Melbourne

Overall it was a good vegetarian pizza place with a few things to be improved. We ordered two pizzas. Vegetarian special and protein power. They are both good but some part of the bases ( bottom part) are very much burned and it tasted very bitter. The base is not even, some part is thick and some part is thin, hence created an uneven texture. In terms of the environment, I have to say that we are struggling to find a clean table to sit on. Every table has some food scraps without clean. After three tables, I finally found a table seems has no food scraps, but it is very oily. We try to get napkins to wipe and found a few napkin boxes in a few tables are empty. I know this is not an expensive restaurant,hence shouldn’t expect too much of it. I have visited Greenzilla twice now. It is so convenient, just a two-minute walk from my house. I am so happy that we finally have a new veggie place in St Kilda. Both times I had a vegan pizza, and let me tell you, they are absolutely outstanding! The best vegan pizza in Melbourne. I would even go so far as to say that they are better than Red Sparrow's vegan pizza! I had the Vegan Butter Chicken and Power Protein pizzas. Both were so creamy and had an amazing taste. The vegan cheese is really good too. The service is super friendly. Everyone, please go and eat their amazing pizzas and support this place so that we don't lose a veggie place again! Had heard a lot about the place and thus decided to visit. Before visiting we had given a call as well to confirm whether we need to book a table for two since we were travelling from far, we were told no need to book, which implies that once a customer arrives food or atleast table to sit would be available. We did wait for 30 minutes and to no avail. If during the time management was understaffed this should have been notified when we called earlier.
