Update: I’m a sucker for cereal. Literally grew up on the stuff. Breakfast, after school, dessert. Had my doubts about straying from the original Hokkaido cheese tart - which is very very good, especially if you can catch it freshly made. The dripping, warm, oozing cheesy sweet goo… sigh. But at Southern Cross Station, just before closing, no such luck. Nothing is fresh at 6pm. And here’s where the oddly named ‘salted caramel’ tart came into its own, because cornflakes are still good stale and chewy. Work with me here. Though maybe you shouldn’t because I’m also a soggy cereal fan, but I digress. This breakfast cereal-clad salted caramel tart was sweet, yes, so sweet, and delicious! Yum! Loved the textures, loved the ooze, loved the surprise of the caramel half/half filling. $4.50
Original: The choux was filled with fresh cream by the staff and was ok. Too sweet and rich for me, but good crunchy textures. The original cheese tart was lovely but a stiffer pastry base than my favourite Uncle...

Read moreThis lovely dessert place is located next to PappaRich in front of Collins Street Tram Stop D14 at Southern Cross station. I stopped here for a take away and I was happy with the service which was prompt. They serve a few variety of baked desserts which includes choux and croissants. The croissants are freshly prepared and are nice and flaky. They have a few different options with a normal croissant at $5.50 each while the ones with fillings are $7.50 each. You can have an assorted pack of 4 for $28 (prices as of October 2022). The croissants are filled on order and they taste delicious when warm. The packaging is also robust and well designed. Overall experience is great and I would recommend their charcoal croissant options which are different and...
