Had my attention drawn to the place thanks to really loud music I doubt the city council would approve of while walking down the street. Decided to check out what was special about the shop since I was already craving for some South Indian food.
Upon walking into the shop, all I could see were a tonnes of customers huddled around the food section waiting until their numbers were called. Inside the food counter was seriously out-manned (about 4-5 people having to serve about 30 standing outside). The lady in-charge of the section didn't seem like serving customers much, but preferred to shout at the servers who were actually trying to work but couldn't due to getting distracted by blames coming their way.
After waiting an uncomfortable 15 minutes comes my turn to order food. More than 5 customers missed their numbers due to temporary deafness caused by loud music and had to call out it was their number. My server actually did a pretty good job, but later found out he had missed several samosas I was supposed to have in my bag.
The staff was generally unfriendly and didn't look like they were enjoying working there at all. I personally would prefer to stay out of the food section and...

Read moreWould give it minus stars if option were available. Standard has dropped drastically! Overpriced and poor customer service. Especially by the lady with the ugly eyeliner and the only one wearing the face mask (surely to hide herself) as she was beyond rude to customers. She yelled at me for asking what the pan roll was as the sign had fallen. She was extremely rude, arrogant, and impatient. When asked for chutney with the vada - She said we have to pay extra for chutney and its not included (whereas every time we have bought vada we always get chutney included). When we told her that yesterday we got chutney she just threw the packet and started yelling at my elderly parents, when I told her she was being rude. I understand customer service is not high in MKS but to be abused just for asking a simple question is definitely not right. That lady definitely needs to learn sone basic mannerisms and how to...
