Palm Sugar Thai Cafe — Restaurant in Melbourne

I don’t normally give out negative reviews of places online but this is such poor service and quality for a restaurant that’s just opened up. I ordered 2 curries last week with specific instructions that I didn't want rice. I paid extra to receive the curries alone. Received the food and when we got home there was mostly rice at the bottom of both these curries. My husband doesn't eat rice so I called the restaurant and spoke to Pat who offered a credit for 2 of the same curries for next time. Today I went into the restaurant and placed the order for the 2 curries I was given a credit for. They were very unpleasant and were clearly unhappy to honour this. They reluctantly placed the order. When I got home and opened up the curries they were approx. half full and contained mostly liquid (photos attached). On top of this the food was barely luke warm and lacked any flavour. This is so disappointing as they could have easily won me over into purchasing from them again if they hadn’t made this experience unpleasant and skimped out on giving me proper dishes (which I had originally paid for) and if the food was of good quality. While holidaying in Melbourne and waiting to catch the tram we spotted this Thai restaurant. We decided on a whim to have our dinner there before catching the tram back to our accommodation. Well what a surprise it was. The food was so delicious and scrumptious, plentiful in quantity. We ordered for our entrees as shown on the menu - fishcakes(qty:3) & spring rolls(qty:3). What a surprise to find 4x fish cakes & 4x spring rolls on the plates when they were delivered to our table. We weren't charged for the extra fish cake or extra spring roll.
