SIMPSONS BURGERS (Market st) — Restaurant in Melbourne

2021: Have been going here regularly since I moved nearby a few months ago. Tried most of the meat & chicken burger menu. All have been delicious. The onion rings are seriously the best in Melbourne. Always perfect. Staff are always polite and pleasant.

May 2023: apparently you can't review a place twice which is weird. So I'm editing to add this place is still my regular local and I love their burgers and onion rings. Tonight a new addition to the menu is haloumi chips. Yum. Perfect amount of crumbing and cheese. (Some places out there are all crumb & barely any cheese). I've put a photo with a bite taken so you can see how much cheese is in there. Really tasty new addition.

Hands down one very tasty burger without being too greasy! We ordered the Smoking Burger, American Burger, Poutine, and a serve of chips with spicy mayo. Smoking burger comes with bacon but not greasy at all, which had me keep talking about it to the last bite.

Now the chips. I don’t know how, but I was very pleased getting served a cup of hot, chunky, and very crunchy chips. Not the texture you got from KFC or HJ nowadays. The Poutine has a very generous cheese and gravy layer to the bottom. If you like it spicy, go for chips and spicy mayo (not a regular one, this has a real spicy kick!)

An excellent service from the owner KK, the place is clean and nice for dine in. Definitely a place to go to get burger, especially if you’re fussy about greasy...

The team here at Simpsons burgers Market Street are the most genuinely lovely people:) I’ve been coming here since before lockdown and these burgers are by far the closest to ‘In and Out’ burgers in America !!! I agree with other reviews WHAT AN AWESOME LITTLE HIDDEN GEM!!! They’re done the American way … delicious!! The buns are cooked beautifully and the burgers are just sooo juicy and the menu is great for all burger lovers!! Cozy seating inside and outside !!!!
