Another disappointing experience. We stopped in for a light dinner before attending a 7pm show at Civic Theatre on a Sunday night. We only ordered the snack plate and Korean hot dog, ordering at 6.07pm, thinking that will give us plenty of time to order, wait and eat. It was busy but not packed and we weren't told it would be a long wait at all when we ordered. We waited over 30 minutes until 6.40pm to check on the food, and were told it would be out very soon. We waited another 15 minutes and were quite disheartened at this point so we took our table number up to the counter and waited back in line to be served. I spoke briefly with one person (the person who served us originally) and advised we would need a refund as we had to leave, and she brushed me off quite rudely. She went back into the kitchen and asked on the status of the order and yelled back out at me that it was almost ready and if I wanted it takeaway, to which I replied no we couldn't, as we were going to the Theatre. When I reached the front counter I was served by a different person, meanwhile the woman was standing right beside and said nothing more. The man asked what I wanted and I again repeated that we would need a refund as we had waited over 45 minutes and unfortunately had to leave for our show. He turned and looked to the kitchen and replied "hmmm, yeah that should be okay". I found this quite rude, as of course it is okay as we didn't receive our food after a more than reasonable (quite long) wait time for a small plate of chips and chicken and one side, and were quite polite in asking for the refund and didn't make a big deal about it. He proceeded to say nothing more, fix the refund for the food, did not apologise at all for the delay or that we now had missed our dinner, and when he finished the refund said "all sorted thanks bye" and dismissively walked off. At this point it was almost 7pm and we were then almost late for our show so couldn't get any other food and sat until 9.30pm without dinner. I don't often write reviews at all, and have never actually written a review less than 5-stars as I like to give the benefit of the doubt and I know some days just dont go smoothly for resturants or represent the every day operation, but I was so disappointed with this interaction and the complete disregard the staff had shown, like they couldn't have cared less. This was made worse as we were very polite about it and again didn't make a big issue of it even though of course it's quite disappointing to have to leave without your meal. If they had offered even a simple apology for the missed meal and/or inconvenience, I would have been more than understanding and know sometimes it's busy and that's just life, but the staff attitude was what has upset me the most. This is not the first time we have waited a long time here, and we have even witnessed other customers wait and then leave without their meal due to the lengthy wait times. Previously we put this down to teething issues shortly after opening, but they obviously need to organise themselves/staffing better and/or advise customers they should expect a significant wait. So very...

Read moreabsolutely incredible; one of the best Korean fried chicken establishments I’ve been to. I highly recommend the onion mayo chicken in the rice bowl, chicken was so juicy and an overload of flavour. My partner and I were thoroughly satisfied with our food, very generous potion sizes. Potato tornado is cut thickly which surprised me, absolutely phenomenal. Ended our dinner with some strawberry Bingsu for dessert and oh my god.. first time trying Bingsu and it lives up to the hype. Staff were unbelievably friendly and the service was outstanding, we highly appreciated how well decorated the place was and the atmosphere/vibe of the establishment. Will be returning back and recommending all my clients and friends. Been a regular at their Busan chicken in Cardiff since opening and so happy that they’re expanding !
You will not regret...
