Oceans 6019 — Restaurant in Scarborough

Absolutely disgusted with the service yesterday at 2:30-3:30pm on the 16th of July. My friends and I were enjoying our pub golf experience when we went to pick up our drinks from the bar, after the first round somebody had miscounted what was paid for verse was we actually got, now everyone in our group was willing to show Jess “the manager” our bank statements to prove everyone had paid and that she hadn’t made all our drinks. You think this would be a simple fix? She refused to look at them and decided to be very rude to every person in our group who tried to just explain our side. She would not even let us buy more for the two people who didn’t receive a drink. She insisted she was right and got very angry. Absolutely terrible customer service and all 25 of us have agreed we will never go there again. To spend upwards of $650 in less than 15 minutes and have someone yell at you and accuse you of being wrong without even trying to get to a resolution is absolutely disgusting. I don’t know who left her in charge but please don’t do it again. I myself work in retail and would never want to make my customers feel that way. Apologies go a long way. In conclusion do...

Always a really fun bar with a good atmosphere, unfortunately last night we had a really bad experience, we waited at the main bar for so long to be served to the point we actually considered walking out, two girls proceeded to push in front of us which the bar staff saw and then proceeded to serve them first, I don’t know if the bar staff noticed we were annoyed but it seemed as though they were actively ignoring us. There were times where everyone at the front of the bar had been served and the girl was shouting “can I help anyone” to the people behind those already served. They really seemed like they didn’t want to be there, rolling their eyes etc. At the 25/30 minute mark we decided to lose the spot in the line for the bar and check the one on the dance floor, which there was a few people. Malicious. They don't take EFTPOS in 2020. The only ATMs around are in the store which only dispense multiples of $50 which charge you $2.50 to use which the bar could profit off. All the food was spiced, encouraging you to drink. The music was far too loud even during early evening, also encouraging you to buy drinks from a dry throat from yelling. I asked the staff for a can of guiness and a glass so I could pour it myself because I didn't trust the staff to do it right, and I was right not to, because she pulled the ring on the can, walked around for 30 seconds, then gave me the already settled can of drink and a glass that couldn't fit it all and said "it's fun to pour it yourself, isn't it?", either completely missing the point at best, or deliberately messing with me at worst. Can't be bothered with the place.
