I recently visited the bar and was absolutely blown away by the amazing atmosphere, stunning ocean views, and outstanding service provided by Riccardo - all of which came together to make this one of the best experiences I have ever had!

We booked a 2 hour bottomless brunch 2 - 4 and was disappointed with the way it was serviced. Firstly, as stated in the terms, they only provide one drink each at any given time, however, only one waitress is there and she also serviced the rest of the bar. In essence you had to chase her down after every drink so out of the two hours you spend 50% drinking and 50% looking for a waitress and waiting for your drink. Some of the table upgraded to the spirit package and at 3.50 we were served a drink, as you do, we drank it quick to get another in, went to the bar at 3.56 to be told the waitress had called last drinks on the last round. I questioned why as we were still with our time slot to order another only to be told they thought we had had value for money. I was under the impression bottomless was just that, until your time was up. Also one of our table only had few limoncello in 2 hours and another a few glasses of bubbles. We were not at all drunk but they then went into responsible service of alcohol chant, only allowed to have one drink on the table at one time!!!!! I explained the other drink was finished but was still refused. The food was a piece of chicken each, a lamb kebab each, pitta bread, a bowl of potatoes and a salad. It was nice but not very filling we asked if we could have another piece of chicken but was refused. All in all a disappointing experience and will not be repeated, definitely not good value for money especially when the waitress calls...

Ok...... let's get the elephant in the room out of the way....... This seems to be a place that always responds to customer feedback, but can be a love it, or loath it experience, so maybe a staff training around the 'Culture' and what is expected of everybody who works here, should get everybody on the same page around the Customer experience.

Now..... having said that. We visited for the first time tonight and loved the quirky and fun entrance to the bar.

Staff were friendly whilst doing the neccessary covid checks.

We were 15 mins too early for happy hour, but that was ok, because we had not known about happy hour from 5pm to 6pm anyway.

Good drink selection, although once again, as in the trendier pubs...... no dark ales or stout.

The food menu looked pretty decent, but was too early for us to have dinner, so we opted for a bowl full of hot chips and a side of aoili.

Nice, hot, crispy chips and lots of them for just $5 bucks.

Hoping to have nice view from the balcony was what drew us to here and that was wonderful over the vibrant Scarborough foreshore and beach.

Bumping into some friends topped off the visit beautifully and I can honestly say, our customer experience here tonight was 5 star.
