Burger: 1.5/5 Fries: 3/5 Price: $18 for burger, $6 for fries
Service was so bad. Had to ask for the cashier's attention because he was on his phone. Like the heck man, the shop was pretty much empty and really not that hard to look up.
I had the Heisnenburger but honestly it was such a big disappointment. Patties were overcooked, brown all the way through and charred.
Buns were abysmal when it came to holding the burger together Honestly shouldn't have been too hard. I mean it was two patties that were as thick as Macca's cheeseburger ones, a leaf of lettuce, tomato, sparse portion of onions and a ration of subpar sauce that came from WW2 times. Honestly don't know why his burger is $18, patties weren't even wagyu. 18 dollars can get you a Barnyard burger from the Milkbar by Cafe Ish and that one is so much more delectable.
I had loaded fries on the side but they were nothing special. Just the same MCain shoestring fries with some of that BA (Burgers Anonymous) sauce and some bacon bits. Chips were oversalted and when I ate it with the bacon, tasted saltier than my tears.
Also they don't even have table water lol. They give you water in a plastic cup. From a tap from the kitchen. At least give customers a glass bottle.
Just a heads up to anyone that wants to visit. From my experience it definitely wasn't worth my time...
Read moreThey got a nice location at a corner right on Oxford Street. The restaurant is nice decent looking with funny names for their meals. Although this style is used quite often for new start ups I like it, so I gave it a shot. I went there weekdays around 3pm when it wasn't busy. Service is not outstanding, they just do their job. I ordered the Shroomburg, which is their only vegetarian burger for a stiff 13 dollars. The Burger was ready in under 5 minutes which is great, but then the disillusion came. Simply put, the burger was a joke. On the burger was this single big crumbed mushroom, two mid-sized red onion rings, one leaf of lettuce and a bit sauce. The bun itself is very sweet and just plane. The burger had no taste at all. It's a shame what I got there for my money and can't recommend it at all.
Conclusion: Burger Anonymous looks good but in the end its just a decent looking restaurant with even more decent and far too overpriced burgers. Ive never been that...
Read moreStaff were friendly no problem there, but the staff were playing around which is fine if the quality of food your serving is still good... but no. EVERYTHING I ordered was raw. The fried chicken fillet was raw (grey and translucent on the inside) and the wings were pink and bleeding...
I work in fast food and have for 6 years so I'm pretty patient w fast food workers, but I won't be coming back.
I got a refund the cashier was friendly and apologised. I showed him the photos and he said "that's really raw" like yeah I know.
I work not too far from there, was on my lunch break (was working a close shift at the restaurant I work at) and wanted to try someplace new, but yeah no... not again.
I value my life and would like to keep it. $23.10 for salmonella?? No thank you ... 😂😂
Being tired and hungry this was just not it and not what I wanted to deal with at 10PM
