Contento Cafe Cronulla — Restaurant in Sydney

Hubby and I were on the search for a good late big breakie in Cronulla. Everywhere had limited menus or stopped serving breakfast at 12pm. Sundays are usually the days for a ‘hangover’ feed and we did do research before leaving to see if there was something suitable. Tried a few and they had small menus and you’d have to add to make it a good breakie which cost more than the actual meal. We chose to go here and we weren’t disappointed. ‘The Giant’ served toast, avo, 2 poached eggs, bacon, sausage, baked beans, hash brown and mushrooms. Was definitely the big breakfast we wanted. We decided to try this place out because it looked very cute and it was advertising a fantastic breakfast deal of $12 for a bacon and egg roll and a regular coffee. For anyone that knows the steep price of eating out in Australia these days will know that this deal is not to be missed. It also helped the bacon and egg roll was delicious, especially as it was served on hot and nicely crispy Turkish bread. I ordered the strawberry matcha and my boyfriend ordered the mango tango for the drinks. The strawberry matcha gross, there was no matcha I literally got strawberry milk there was no ice in it either, and for $9.50 that is a straight rip off. And for a “mango tango” drink all I could taste was mint. The food was average but for the price 100% not worth it. The staff also gave us dirty looks and were quite rude, they were also dressed quite unprofessionally is there no proper uniform for this place?
