Cronulla Curry House — Restaurant in Sydney

Despite the somewhat promising smell, the curry house used the same identical orange sauce for all its dishes, which, unfortunately, lacked tastes and was decidedly watery. Not just a little bit fluid, but literally a watery wet that causes the rice to float to the surface before drowning. I swear at one point I saw two bits of rice trying to float on the same paltry piece of chicken before one grain sacrificed itself to a tepid watery grave so the other could live... (cue titanic theme tune). Much like the passengers on the titanic and the inadequate number of life boats, there was far too much rice compared to discernible bits of meat leading to something akin to the world's worst rice pudding, but without the flavour. A good Indian takeaway cafe. Located on Cronulla’s Main Street - not far from the train station. Food tastes great. Eat in and takeaway is available. The cafe is almost fully COVID safe. They have QR code check in and hand sanitizer- but the eating utensils are exposed for anyone to touch when they chose their knife and fork. During this pandemic, knives, forks and spoons should be handed to customers in a small paper or plastic bag. Seating is located inside and outside this cafe. Fast, efficient and friendly...

My experience at Cronulla Curry House was unfortunately disappointing. Despite ordering butter chicken, chicken curry, spinach with potatoes, and naan, none of the dishes had any discernible flavor. I cannot recommend this establishment for lunch or dinner based on this lackluster experience. Moreover, considering the amount paid, the quality of the food did not justify the expense.
