Gelatissimo Cronulla — Restaurant in Sydney

The flavours and the infinite choices was amazing (as is every other gellatisimo) the service on the other hand? A joke. Definitely not a busy night, one other customer being served, I stood there for a good ten minutes without any acknowledgement even a smile. Three young girls working behind the counter, one serving the other customer (fair enough) the other two literally chatting away about their personal lives involving boys, how they are perceived and what they’ll do next. It appears their shift was finished as one of them shortly after went to get her hand bag, but why are you standing there doing all this behind the counter? I’m standing there like a fool waiting to be acknowledged. When the other girl finished serving the other patrons she then joined into their conversation saying “so what are you going to do”, waited for their replies then turned to me an said what can I get you. I ordered 2 seperate ice creams, she left no room for me to ask about flavour combo, whats most popular etc as she was just eager to get back to her conversation. So awkward. We were on vacation so wanted to end the trip with a nice dessert, how foolish to think we were entitled to better customer service. Just a comparison, our local gelatissimo has much better customer service, the girls behind the counter are happy to help too. And have a chat WITH the customers not amongst themselves in front...

Amazing worker (Sophie) - I visited Gelatissimo Cronulla a few days ago with the hubby and kids for our dessert. Despite it being the busiest time of the day the staff working were impeccable with their service, customer attitude and ice cream scooping skills. I was truely impressed with the professionalism and true care for customers the workers performed, even much so I asked for their names in hope to leave a review, the beautiful girls name was Sophie and she was the true definition of a superb worker. She was patient and understanding whilst I was struggling with the kids, offering taste testers and took her time to understand. I am utterly just obsessed with her work ethic. Thankyou...

Very mixed customer sevice. I was quoted $52 for a gelato cake by a reqlly helpful girl. Went in to pay and collect the next day and the girls tried to charge me $60. I told them that is was quoted $52 and was spoken to like dirt. When i said it was pretty bad that the wrong price was quoted they both totally ignored me and walked off. Really wish i had walked out without the cake to be honest. Really disappointed as my kids love going there. Would be great to hear from management about this. I don't blame the girl who made the price mistake but an explanation and apology would have been nice from the staff who were...
