3.9 - Enjoyed my Lunch Today. They were still slow on the greeting, but once inside, the food was better than the last time I tried! Tiny bits of Pork Belly with some Gai Lan and Rice was delicious. And ask for Vinegar for the Pork Dumplings - they were a nice little refresher and the BBQ Bun too. As soon as I finished my last mouthful, my plates were all taken away very quickly, which was a little bit of a shock. Other than that, it was good. *** Previously, 4 months ago 3.5 - Average. People waiting awhile at the front for staff to greet them even though there weren't many people inside. I had to ask for the Lunch Menu I saw in the window as they only give you the Full Menu. I got the Scallion Noodles (the sauce was ok but it's not real flavour of it being cooked in Scallions), and the Trio of Dumplings was a Siu Mai (good quality but overcooked skin and was dripping in water), Siu Loong Bow equivalent (needed more Ginger and Soup inside), and Veggie Dumplings (crunchy!) I also had a BBQ Pork Bun, where the dough was firm rather than fluffy. The thing about this place is I would recommend not comparing it to authentic places because it's off the mark, but obviously aimed at westerners, and has a more expensive vibe / prices. Environment is nice but is echoey - can hear every single word everyone says haha. Good to try anyway! :)

Had a really good lunch here. I decided to order a bunch of small dishes to try. The star was the Sichuan mala hargow, really unique blend of flavours that works really well with a gentle mala flavour that’s gives a good kick. The wontons were delicious and the sauce was really nice, goes well mixing into the fried rice too. The siu mai was great too. Only the pork belly bao was a slight let down as the meat was a bit dry but flavours were still good. My partner is coeliac and the staff were knowledgeable in pointing her to the gluten free options. She ordered the prawn egg fried rice and the staff confirmed with the kitchen it can be gluten free. She had no issues with the dish after eating it. We also got a peach oolong and mango oolong iced tea and they were both excellent, will definitely be back!

Try this restaurant for the first time as a place for Luna New Year lunch with family. The food we ordered were tasty especially their chicken fillet egg fried rice. However I do find some of the dishes are on the expensive end especially comparing their appetizer-size wontons to what you can get with their fried rice and noodle dishes. Could do better with the order of dishes coming out as well, some of our main dishes came out before the appetizers. Otherwise the restaurant is very good, family friendly plenty of space for customer with wheelchair and prams. Service is very helpful and attentive.

Please take this as constructive criticism and something to take on board and try to implement.

We had: Spicy wonton one vegetarian and one with prawn &pork. This was very delicious.

We had the green bean with dried shrimp stir fried. This was delicious.

We personally prefer the wonton soup to be a little more Schezwan numbing, perhaps having an option for the flavours to be more ‘numbing’?

We had the roast duck pancake: duck needs to be chopped properly as even though chopped, all the pieces was still stuck together. And the pancake was on the drier side. The pancakes were dry on the top and bottom, the middle rows were nice.

We also noticed that vinegar and give her was not provided to customers, you had to ask for those items. I understand that maybe not having the ginger on the table can be due to temperature control, but having the soy sauce and vinegar available on the table should be the norm.

The service was prompt and efficient 👏

We thoroughly enjoyed our meals and will be back again, just...
