Today on 3rd Oct 22, public holiday we went to Parramatta for dinner. After ordering the food, I have been told that there is 15% public holiday surcharge. This is quite unethical. Staff said to me because we all work on public holiday to serve customers thats why there is surcharge. Grilled staff is not the one whol worked on Public Holiday in Australia. As an employee of the bank I also worked. I checked Guzmen Gomez next door restaurant there were not charging it. This is completely unacceptable to pass the cost to customers because you wanted your staff to work. If you want to keep business open then pay your staff public holiday allowance or double pay. Simply passing surcharge to customer is insane.
There is red colour notice board on the counter but it is not visible from the check out counter. Person on the counter also telling this while paying the bill instead of they should say at first when placing an order. In this high inflation charging extra could impact the customer. Read moreI recently had the unfortunate experience of dining at Grill'd, and I must say, it was nothing short of disappointing. The burger I ordered was a complete letdown. It was as if they had mistaken their burger for a sandwich, with an absurdly disproportionate amount of bread compared to the pitiful filling inside. The dry, lackluster bread did nothing to salvage the already lackluster situation.
And let's talk about the price – I'd expect to pay a premium for a high-quality burger, but what I got was a far cry from that. The exorbitant price I paid for that subpar excuse of a burger was simply unjustifiable.
To add insult to injury, even after ordering a shared platter of chips, I left the place feeling far from satisfied. The meager portions and disappointing quality left me questioning why I even bothered stepping foot into Grill'd in the first place.
In conclusion, if you're in the mood for a filling and satisfying burger experience, I strongly advise you to steer clear of Grill'd. There are far better options out there that won't leave your wallet empty and your taste buds...
Read moreI ordered a Vegan, GF, sesame and peanut free meal because of allergies. To take away on 21/2/2025. I asked the waitress at the counter many questions to make sure that it’s what i need. She said your service could do it. I reminded her THREE times at the counter that please double check for me. I also asked AGAIN if it’s GF, sesame and peanut free when another guy handed the meal to me. And you all said YES with confidence??? It was NOT BUSY at the time when i made my order.
And look, this is what i got when i took it home!! It’s clearly nothing else but SESAME???? I’m so so angry and i had to throw it all away because i can’t have it.
Why is it so hard to double check and make sure your customers don’t die from an allergy… Imagine this is something we cant see with our eyes but it’s inside a sauce or a bun instead, we could’ve been in the hospital by now!
Please do a better service and I WANT MY MONEY BACK! This is such a waste of time and money and I bought home nothing but anger.
