Lumos Ground Espresso — Restaurant in Sydney

Today at 10:05 AM, I went to buy coffee from this café. The lady taking my order was quite unfriendly. I ordered a total of 5 coffees, but due to some miscommunication, only 4 were prepared. When I mentioned that I had ordered 5, the cashier responded rudely, insisting that I had only ordered 4. I calmly explained that there must have been a miscommunication and said I’d like to order one more coffee. In response, she said something in her own language and made an unpleasant facial expression. When I asked why she was reacting that way—especially when the mistake wasn’t mine—she didn’t apologize and continued to be rude. Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time we’ve experienced this kind of behavior at this café. Some of the staff are consistently unfriendly and always seem to be in a rush, even when we’re ordering multiple coffees, which naturally takes time. This kind of service early in the morning completely...

Visited here a couple of times now as work next door. The coffee is nice. The food has been mixed. I had a egg, feta & spinach wrap yesterday and it lacked filling. I was quite surprised how little was inside the wrap. It was tasty though - just a little empty.

My friend ordered a bacon and egg muffin and they over heated it in the microwave so she found the bread chewy.

I have eaten here before for lunch and the food was nice. Maybe they weren't having a good day yesterday. I will continue to go here and give more of...

The most friendly and welcoming staff, great service and best chai lattes. The team there always put a smile on my face - always look forward to seeing them.

I have worked in North Sydney for over 6 years and have tried my fair share of cafes around here.

I come here every day now, but distinctly recall them remembering my usual take away order after only being there 2 times - Bonus points for that! Have noticed this many times with others, so you can tell they pay attention and care about their customers.
