On the 19/04/2022 me and my family ordered a family meal from MacDonald's at Chatswood interchange after work. Upon arriving home, we realized our meal had 2 missing chips and 2 cheeseburgers. We contacted MacDonald to let them know to which they acknowledged that they had made a mistake with the order, the staff we spoke to apologized and mentioned they will be happy to provide us we another meal. After driving back through peak traffic and the challenged of finding a car park at the busy Chatswood centre, waiting in line me and mother realized that our food was sealed at the front counter, before we got our food the Store Manager named (Reece) approached the front counter not wearing a name bag and asked me to walk to him, In front of all the customers watching he asked for the package to be opened then he asked for the staff to take out the chips and the burgers from the meal. He was extremally rude to the staff and to us In front of everyone watching and said sorry you can only have 2 cheeseburgers and 1 chip because that all that was missing from your meal. I politely explained the situation to him however his response was sorry I canât help you and walked off and sat at one of the tables talking to a young man not in uniform. I felt quite embarrassed and approached him with a professional interruption to let him know that I did not appreciate how he handled the situation and that I now prefer for the entire meal to be replaced because at least 1 hour had gone by and the remaining food had gone cold. Again, he with a very degrading tone he said that there is nothing he can do for me once again In front of the person young man he was with and the other staff and dismissed me. I told Reece the store manager that I am not happy and will complain about my experience to which his response was âokayâ. Reece the store manager made everyone including his own team extremely embarrass and upset even though his team kept apologizing continuously to me and my mother due to acknowledging their mistake he turned his back and walked off. As I was the only paying customer at the store besides 2 or 3 uber eats runners, I expected my order to be provided quickly. My order was ignored, I was ignored, I waited 10-15 min it seemed, then I saw the first sign of a grey shirt (manager). I asked him if he was the manager to which he replied yes. I told him I had placed an order a while ago and nothing was happening in relation to it. I said I guess I'd just like a refund thanks. The manager (I believe his name was Nishka or Nishkin) agreed to it and said sorry and refunded my money. As a manager I would expect that if he chooses to be out the back for 15-20 minutes he should be assured he has a well trained team to manage every order, or in this case one order of a present customer while he is away. I would also expect the manager to make an attempt to rectify the issue for the customer with maybe a compensation or extra service, to make up for the lack of service provided. Instead the refund was issued and he seemed happy about the outcome. Please be reminded, the customer was the loser here. Lack of service, lack of customer care, and then lack of any attempt to compensate for the stuff up.    Read moreAs of recent, I went on my annual birthday visit to mcdonalds chatswood. As i disembarked , i was hit with the nostril sensation of burger sauce, and I approached the self serve, yet similar to the icecream machine it was broken. I felt my intreverted heart shatter like glass as i came to realise, the cold truth - that i would have to approach the counter. The clerk freaked out when i ordered a happy meal, calling me immature, yet if even an immature person seems wise if they control themselves. It felt as though they counteracted the happiness of my meal and my body returned to dynamic equilibrium. After waiting 10 minutes at a so called fast food restaurant, it made me consider that i was becoming a waiter at the restaurant. I openned my meal with blissful anticipation, yet as I did, the truth struck me - no toy. Raging with fury, eyes full of tears, I returned to the counter demanding a toy. Yet the good-for-nothing clerk niggated my request and said they were reserving the toys for children, though they called me a child not a minute ago. It seems as though this uncivilised, money hungry, impertenant, coarse, ignorant, saucy, impolite, obscene, unrefined, uncouth restaurant has sunk so low, any worse and it would be considered inferior to a dumpsite. aim coming, and next time I hope that it can me a more...
