Working with Mates has taken a step too far at McDonald's when the workers wear airpods and don't pay attention to the customer, this McDonald's Green Square has just provided the worst ever experience in your restaurants in my 45 years eating at McDonald's. The manager was the rudest, most incompetent and unfriendly McDonald's worker I've ever encountered. First she slams down some tables and chairs with the force of a Greco Roman wrestler causing such a loud bang, screech and thud that you'd be hard pressed hearing on a building site while customers are sitting close by eating (mind you it'sonly 8:30 pm). Secondly our 3 water bottles were covered in greasy marks with dirt and hair, remembering that the manager was wearing gloves handling tables and chairs while keeping the same gloves on while she prepared our meal in plain sight. Thirdly we had missing items like chips (to which she said "oh well it must have dropped", no sorry just an angry arrogant look) also my classic angus burger had no red onions (to which she responded "we have run out of that onion") I then asked for any onion even the one they put on the Big Mac (to which she responded "well we actually have no onion at all so what do you want me to do? do you want another pickle). I asked her why at any stage I was not told of this so that I can change my burger options (to which she replied "what just because of no onions you want another burger"). I was left speechless standing at the counter while my food was getting cold at the table so I mentioned to her that perhaps she can offer my daughter a desert after her meal for the inconvenience (to which she replied " no way I'm not giving you a desert, do you want more pickles"). Clearly staffing standards flow from the top down and I'm afraid this store has abysmal leadership from leading staff with very poor customer service and a terribly uninviting sour look on their faces. This occurred 22nd of September 2022 at the Green Square McDonald's at exactly 8:35pm. Thank you for the opportunity to await your response...
Read moreWhat can you say about maccas, Well this one in particular is quite slow on most occasions. If u get quick service it's because you came at a quiet time. Late night or early morning.. Tonight, around 7pm I ordered 6 nuggets in a medium meal, not a huge complicated order but I waited over 20 minutes, who knew it's now more time efficient to order from dominos with their 10 minute turn around on pizza.. Nuggets were cold, chips, cold. You had one job.. They fill the bags up with food, and let them sit out the back for minutes not under a warmer before having a huge rush of ready orders and yelling out 8 order numbers one after another.
Its frustrating, hunger had me thinking I was about to walk out the back and check if that was MY food dying on the counter back there.
And when my number came up thats it just a number, no sorry for the wait or anything. Wow. What customer service.. Also on multiple occasions the bins have been too full to put rubbish in, I even asked the manager what time they were due to be emptied and she said 9pm, 2 hours after they were already full. I cant stress enough to the owner/managers that this ongoing problem of taking way too long for cold food is not acceptable.
Dominos are faster.. Taco bell is faster.. KFC is faster.. At this point the Nail Salon is faster... Disappointed, change my mind next time I come and I may retract this completely just and fair review.
P.s There is an option when completing this review asking which dishes I recommend. It made some suggestions... The plastic wrap? What is this? I just thought it was funny as the first review I saw was for the plastic burger (pictured in a review for this mcdonalds) and there was no option for Mc Mop. I do not recommend the plastic...
Read moreFirstly, I would like to thank this store and staff for ruing a Mother's Day breakfast for my children. Upon expressing dissatisfaction of having some one wait for half an hour for an order that was not being made. The staff member who initially advised that the order was being prepared proceeded to shrug her shoulders upon being asked as where the food is. It turned out that the food was not being made because of the App requirements. A phone call to the store was made for the purposes of lodging a complaint about having some one stand in a store as the result of incorrect advice from staff. The manager proceeded to laugh* when I advised 'mother's day is not the same for some people as it is for others and something like this is unacceptable'. On my suggestion in attempt to resolve the issue I sought the under $30 order to be provided as a form as good will and compensate our time wasted. The manger proceeded to provide a sarcastic response advising she cannot hand me out free food - completely disregarding the time spent at the store and that my time is not free! Sadly, I would have been open to negotiation. However, I felt insulted and that it was being implied I expected free food. Sadly, the person who attended the store felt discriminated against due to his disability. This store is not clean, I have witnessed food orders sit on the collection counter for several hours during a 'dine in experience on New Years Day and the staff are rude on most dealings. This matter will be escalated to...
