We came on a Saturday evening at 7ish and there was a long line for it. Almost got me put off if not for the good review on the internet. We waited for about 40 mins to get a seat.

The place has got nice decor but the room is pretty small. It’s not easy to move around. They have an extensive variety of hotpot options on the menu which really caught my eyes. I went for Taiwanese satay hotpot and my friend went for spicy hotpot.

It took some time to get our food ordered and served as the place was busy and it seemed short staffed. I was hungry from the wait and instantly delighted when my hotpot was served with decent portion. It was comforting to have hot food on a winter evening.

I had beef and noodles for my hotpot but there’s only a few beef slices for it, which wasn’t satisfying. They chuck in a lot of veggie and noodles to make the portion look huge. Though I could still feel full from it and yet i preferred more meat. The soup of the hotpot wasn’t that flavorful though, a tad too plain to me and yet not too salty which was ok.

We ordered honey soy fried chicken as side dish. It was claimed as Korean fried chicken though it was Taiwanese style which was pretty easy to tell. The fried chicken was cooked in a similar way as other Taiwanese takeaway shop. I still enjoyed eating it as it’s crispy and flavorsome to my liking.

Overall I enjoyed the dining experience and would like to come back to try other varieties...

First time to go City for lunch again since the pandemic hits on March. Got recommend by a friend on this place and missus won a lucky draw for free fried chicken too. So we were thinking why not. It was quite busy when we arrived at 1’ish. Place is clean and bright with the interesting deco of some authentic Asian ingredients hanging on the wall. Service is friendly and fast too even though it only have one floor staff working. Right after we ordered it take less then 10 minutes for our meal to serve. The pots are marvellous to be honest. Soups are so tasty with its own flavour as missus ordered the Taiwanese satay hot soup and I get the braised wavy beef hot soup and am really intrigued with the broth because that whole element serve is something very new to me. The server recommend the snow cheese flavour for missus lucky won of fried boneless chicken. She was right it is unbelievable tasty and crunchy. We also had the crispy milk bun and my goodness that is the best fried bun I ever had. It’s not oily even though it is deep fried and it also had a hint of condensed milk drizzle on top. Crispy n the outside and warmth soft on the inside. Damn so so good !!! Price is very reasonable for such top quality of food and service. Overall this will be one of my favourite Taiwan restaurant to dine in from now on. Well done and really highly...

The food at this establishment is incredibly delicious, healthy, and served in generous portions. However, there is a major issue with the customer service provided. The staff members are extremely rude and unhelpful, which is disappointing. I strongly believe that hiring professional waiters would greatly improve the overall experience for customers.

These waiters should prioritize politeness and cleanliness. It is essential for them to clean the tables thoroughly and ensure these water bottles, chopsticks, spoons are always clean and presentable. I had a particularly bad experience where the water bottle I received was dirty, and this should never happen.

Furthermore, it is crucial for the waiters to understand and fulfill the customers' requests. If there is any confusion regarding an order, the waiters should not hesitate to ask for clarification and make sure they get it right. Bringing the wrong item to the table without checking with the customer is unacceptable.

In summary, while the food is fantastic, the customer service provided by the current staff falls far short of expectations. Hiring attentive and polite waiters who take care of the tables and prioritize customer satisfaction would greatly improve the overall...

I am a regular customer here and always recommend my friends to try this restaurant out. However, my recent visit 08/07/25 was given me a horrible experience. Firstly, I have given an undercooked chicken from a chicken don (just some pieces were on the red/pink colour inside but some pieces were fully cooked with white colour inside. So, I can compare and notice that it was undercooked. When I asked staff, she told me that it was just a marinade sauce. Then how come other pieces had different colour. So, I was just let it go and enjoy the other pieces of cooked chicken. When it comes to payment, the staff chose skipped me and call the customer who was behind my queue. It had gotten even worse as I told her where was my table is, then Staff: the table has been paid already. Me: No it wasn’t, my table is… the one that got chicken issue. Staff: told other staff in Chinese that she couldn’t understand my English and told other staff to continue with my payment. Hellooo, that was so rude. I believe that my English is clear and understandable. If you had issues, shouldn’t you just ask to clarify.
