Cold Rock Ice Creamery Olympic Park — Restaurant in Sydney

Disappointing and inconsistent. .....took one of my children in for a waffle cone single scoop ice cream. It was a good, decent size scoop that was pushed slightly into the cone. Took my second child in about an hour later (we were only staying next door at the Novotel). He got exactly the same ice cream with the most pitiful small scoop that was simply placed precariously on the top of the cone. $6.80 for this. When I looked at her and suggested it was small I received a blank stare and a disinterested scowl. At least be consistent with orders and maube smile at customers...

Horrible experience. No welcome, no smiles. As we waited for my partner's ice cream, one staff member was being humiliated by a manager or owner in front of customers. From there, the same manager ignored my partner's order and then told another staff member to make it as it was obvious he didn't want to be serving. No one said thank you, or used any kind of kindness towards any customer in the store. Nearly $20 for two ice creams with hardly any add ons and they weren't that great either. Horrible service and average, over priced ice cream. Wouldn't recommend at all....

We went there with a lot of expectation that I will get to see the whole cold rock experience. The customer service was very poor. I picked a flavour, they plonked it on the cold rock. They didn't even ask me what additions I'd like on that, before I could ask them to add m&ms, snickers and other things, they were already done with the mashing of the ice cream and served it in a cup. I was hoping for a nice smash and mix, but they poked at the ice cream at best. Their point of difference is the cold rock, but it was utterly pointless. Very...
