One of the best burgers I have tasted! I just thought I would start with that as that is really key to my review. Mind you, it was expensive, so it should be excellent. OK. Let’s discuss the entire experience. I booked online at their web site which was really easy and where I could comment whether it was a special event (it was my wife’s birthday). The day before there was a confirmation SMS. We arrived on time, parking at the Cronulla Parking station about 5 minutes’ walk away. On reception, my wife was wished a happy birthday. So that was nice. We ordered starters of bread for three, cocktails, and mains (two burgers and a grilled barramundi). They forgot the bread! Now I thought this was great, from a reviewing perspective. People make mistakes. Everyone does, including me. The mark of good service is how those people recover from the mistake. In this case, excellently. Profuse apologies and the bread for free. Yes, it did end up arriving after the mains, but such is life. The waitress went out of her way for us to try to compensate. So in my books, A+. The food. That burger, as I said, was one of the best that I have ever enjoyed. The meat was char-grilled perfectly. The bacon was lovely as were the lettuce and tomato. They also used a non-traditional sauce, not the traditional tomato based one (ie. sauce or relish). Also, the buns were real bread and not that overly sweet brioche that is currently ruining so many burgers. Yum. This restaurant has sophisticated yet casual feel to it, a warmth and charm to use that tired old phrase. But it really does, I had a great time here. And we were sat right near the window where we could enjoy the view of Cronulla beach. Superb. Though a tad pricey, we will definitely visit again.

I've now been twice, and you must come. The food is delicious. If you have any feedback, the team takes it very seriously and provided us with a complimentary dessert that was divine. The service is efficient on busy weekends, we had cocktails within 7 minutes of arriving, and the sommelier was a delight and ever so helpful and highly knowledgeable. The view is nice, staff are quick, food was yummy, room was hot, and a fan would have made it perfect.

Thank you Apres Beach for making our Saturday lunch picnic experience amazing. The Mini Lobster Roll and Blue Swimmer Linguine are great value and delicious. Perfect pizzas with decadent toppings and truly the best crust in The Shire. The Tuna is a must have even if you have to share. We'll be back for more.

Amazing experience last night at Après Beach by the Pines for my wife's 25th Birthday. The food was exceptional - reasonably priced and delicious. The staff were outstanding. My regards to Alicja, Alessio and Jordan for looking after us with such excellence and dedication for the entire evening. The staff were probably the most hospitable I have ever seen in the Shire. I would certainly recommend Après Beach by the Pines for anyone looking to run a function - birthday, work event, etc. Thanks...

Lovely evening with 18 of my great friends. It was the perfect casual drinks and dinner to celebrate some friends birthday. Service was excellent. I was given a heads up that there was another big group booking shortly after us and they were short staffed, but if I needed anything, hunt him down. I honestly didn't notice. Drinks were ordered and paid via QR code at each table which was excellent to receive table service and not have to deal with the awkward dilemma of splitting a huge...
