Read moreWe went on Friday 8pm about a month after the restaurant opened and it was full (we had a reservation). The restaurant interior has a traditional Japanese vibe and a pleasant lively ambiance. The staff were very courtesy and friendly and quickly bought the items ordered on the tablet.
The exhaust fan positioned closely above the charcoal burner above was very efficient and no smoke escaped. We have the exact same charcoal burner at home and use #9 Wagyu beef. The charcoal was too cool (I could place my hand above for 5 seconds) and did not sizzle / cook as quickly as it should. We ordered the $22 M01 Beef Short Rid which was good (pictured), and the $19 M05 Beef Rib Finger to try something different (which as OK, but would have been better off with a second round of M01).

Atmosphere 5/5 It is a well designed restaurant that bring us to Japan instantly. Love their decorations and how spacious the place is even with quite sufficient seatings in there.
Service 5/5 Staff is very friendly and helpful. We asked for a few things and they attended very quickly.
Food 5/5 Like the bbq using charcoal instead of the gas type, I like the sound when the fats dropped onto the charcoal 🤪 one of their beef is fantastic, but I can’t remember which cut is that. They have chicken soft bone as well, my big time favourite! Not all the places have it, must try!!
Will I come back again? 5/5 Will give it 5 yeses! Although it is not cheap, I think is quite worth it for such quality food.
Recommendation sirloin cut (I think, might be wrong) chicken soft bone gizzard ox...
