For somebody that has always wanted to go to New Orleans, especially because of the food, this diner has met my needs for now..amazing food, the pistol platter for two was just incredible, fresh with real creole flavour. Chicken thighs were used for the southern fried chicken making it a really succulent and crispy experience. The shrimp was juicy with a great crisp batter and the smoky pulled pork was out of this world. Andouille sausage tasted homemade and was smoky and juicy and the Cajun fries were the best. Served with a slaw and creolaise that was just as delicious. The portion of Gumbo that I ordered on the side was just as good, the depth of flavour was incredibly smoky!
