I find the food pretty average really. Been twice now. (Might be because I'm more a healthy eater in general and prefer Asian flavours.) $20 for a burger seems a lot when it's in an average bun and very basic filling - fried meat, lettuce and tomato. The roll I got (catfish po boy) wasn't great taste wise though was a huge serving. Served in a basket which makes it impossible to cut. Much prefer a plate so will ask next time if I go back. The fella who ran it seemed quite grumpy and unfriendly, though the young girl who waited on us was much more cheerful. Have been here for music before and that was great! Would go back just for drinks and music and avoid the food next time. Beers available were good. (Loved the Blackman's Brewery Reginald IPA)

I checked out a couple of reviews and liked the sound Got 50m away from the place and could hear cool rock music, big sign above drew me closer. I went for a burger and live band, ordered the burger (wasn't hungry enough for chips too) and a beer Got the perfect seat as could see the band rocking out with known songs and I heard a really really good original but didn't catch the name (a line was " You can't run away from your soul) date 10/8/19 on at around 10pm if you wanna delve & find them) All in all great atosmosphere, patrons loved the band & I have nothing to say bad about the food :) went for the bacon cheese bbq burger and a pale ale 20 something dollars. Will make a point of coming back when in the area. 5/5

Came down to Geelong for a night out for dinner then movies. Had a mate mention this place and the wife and I thought we'd give it a go. The fired chicken was pretty good, juciy and tender. I had a burger which was pretty good also. Had the gumbo soup which was also very nice. Also have a wide range of American craft beers which is cool. They're meant to have a live blues band 6 nights a week, the night we went must have been the night they don't have the band but music still played in the background and the decor is pretty cool. You order and pay at the bar so it's easy to split bills if you're in a large group. Definitely worth a go if you're in the area.

For somebody that has always wanted to go to New Orleans, especially because of the food, this diner has met my needs for now..amazing food, the pistol platter for two was just incredible, fresh with real creole flavour. Chicken thighs were used for the southern fried chicken making it a really succulent and crispy experience. The shrimp was juicy with a great crisp batter and the smoky pulled pork was out of this world. Andouille sausage tasted homemade and was smoky and juicy and the Cajun fries were the best. Served with a slaw and creolaise that was just as delicious. The portion of Gumbo that I ordered on the side was just as good, the depth of flavour was incredibly smoky! I ordered a cherry cola bomb from the drinks menu and if you like cherries this was friken sensationally cherrisome!! Vibes were cool and bluesy with helpful friendly staff. Will defo be...

Date/time of visit: 5 February 2021, 9:00pm Date/time of visit: 7 February 2021, 7:00pm

We enjoyed this venue so much we returned two days later. Both times the food was amazing. The first visit, 5 Feb, was a Friday night and the atmosphere was great, with great live music. The place was (safely) "packed" with people enjoying the food and music. The second visit, 7 Feb, was a Sunday evening, and the venue was quiet but a relaxing atmosphere. People were turning up after us (we must've been early). Again, the food was great. I had a different burger each visit. Burgers were made well, with care and flavourful. My patner loved the Po'boys - a different one each visit. Salad was refreshing. Chicken ribs succulent and flavoured well. Well priced food, great quality food,...
