Used to be amazing within its first year of opening and was my go to for an outside meal, however since the full opening post-covid the quality has dropped drastically.
The fried chicken isnt as good since they changed from v-wings to just wing/drumstick. The burger is still okay but both the chicken and the sauce doesn't have that amazing taste previously. Then when you order a side of Devil hot level 4 sauce, which usually destroys me. They give you a level 3, cross out the 3 and replace it with 4 and think thats okay? I could feel the spice but barely, nothing compared to when I've tried level 4 earlier which would burn my mouth for 5 minutes.
On top of the quality dropping, prices have jumped obviously like everywhere else which just doesn't feel right. The manager is great and she always has been, so I hope she and the owner can do what they can to bring the restaurant back to its previous standard. As of now I dont see any reason to order here over TDOK, Bubble Bar or get a...
Read moreI don’t recommend this place. Value for money simply was not there - meat portion sizes were very underwhelming, oddly no banchan (traditional sides dishes) to accompany the BBQ (as every other KBBQ restaurant normally provides), layers of pickled radish inside the fried chicken burger which kind of ruined it to be honest and tinyyyy rice portions. The BBQ itself is run on cans of butane and just kept faulting continuously. Overall experience just not up to par. Expect to fork out significant coin as prices are set at a higher echelon than most but just don’t expect too much in return. The staff were very, very kind, the dining ambiance is beautiful and cozy and the Beef rib Galbi probably the saving grace. That’s about as far as the pros go. Likely won’t be...
Read moreI went here twice. First time I order the chicken burger $22 meal deal and it came out satisfactory. Chicken was crispy, decently seasoned and not too oily. The salad was basic and fries simple but the value was certainly there. Service wasn’t the best though with the deal being inflexible to my request change the drink.
The second time I tried their new lunch buffet for $25. The food was well prepared with a small but sufficient selection; especially given the good value ($25 for all you can eat is nice value). Some of the food was cold and it is clear this is new concept (so I’ll give them some leeway there) - raised the issue to the people there so I hope they fix it. Service was very pleasant this...
