So, I get this message from my niece on Instagram telling me I have to try the bagels at Get Ya Fix. And I think to myself: why not? 🤷♂️
We head over there, and first challenge: parking. Let’s just say it’s a bit of a “find it if you can” situation. There’s a construction site nearby, so you kind of just… park “somehow.” Not ideal, but hey, that’s Perth life, right? 🚗🅿️
We walk in, and the vibe hits me straight away — very new age, very “people working on their laptops while sipping flat whites,” very 2025 aesthetic. If you know, you know.
We order two bagels: 👉 Mine is gluten-free, with prosciutto crudo, rocket, aioli, and cheese (a masterpiece already just reading the ingredients). 👉 My partner goes for the more classic ham & kraut option.
When they arrive… wow. These are not just bagels. These are architectural projects stuffed with so many ingredients you almost need a strategy meeting before taking the first bite. 🥯😂 They’re ridiculously good, like “I can’t believe this is a bagel in Perth” good. And apparently, one of the collaborators in the kitchen is Italian (chef vibes). Which honestly explains a lot. Allow me a little national pride moment 🇮🇹✨.
Price-wise, you’re looking at around $20 if you add a coffee, which for Perth is that classic “slightly expensive but still worth it” category. Honestly, I’ve spent more on worse, so no complaints here.
Final verdict? Highly recommended. A spot with personality, taste, and just enough chaos (thanks, parking) to keep it interesting. I’ll...
Read moreGet Ya Fix are super dodgy when it comes to ordering and assembling bikes. They do not "build dreams" as they advertise, they create nightmares and should be pulled as Lekker suppliers.
I've attached a photo of just one example of their lies where they cut grips to force them to fit on a bike I ordered through them and then tried to tell me it was the only option available, when they had actually just ordered the wrong thing (for the second time)...I had to contact Lekker directly to ensure they replaced them with the correct ones. This may seem like a relatively minor issue, however, they had already tried to get away with providing me with a damaged bike previously (multiple scratches and dents, poor workmanship, wrong grips) when I had purchased it new. They only provided a replacement bike after multiple complaints, and even that still had some minor dents which I simply couldn't be bothered addressing after having such an awful experience.
Wouldn't give any stars if I could but at lease one of them (I won't name names) eventually apologized for the grips and replaced them with the...
Read moreWe love the owners, first and foremost. But it's a bagel cafe so I should comment. Bagels: out of this world, espceially since retail availability of good bagels is hard here in Oz. The coffee is stand-out. Single origins - a real coffee-lover's go to. Oddly enough that makes Get Ya Fix stand out from every bagel place in America, where the only thing more terrible than the coffee is the politics. I digress... Last comment is that it's nice to find a place open at 6 after an early morning run. So, a combination of factors make Get Ya Fix an experience not to be missed.
Additional to my last: I wanted the Lox to be my favourite, as I am fairly orthodox... but the Liberty is sensational with the chicken, pesto and...
